Veteran BBC presenter Bill Oddie has backed claims disgraced Jimmy Savile’s abuse was covered up – because he was friends with Prince Charles.

The Springwatch star, who appeared on TOTP with the Goodies when Savile presented it during the 1970s, said there was a “running sick joke” at the BBC about Savile being a paedophile.

He suggested there might have been some sort of “censorship committee” preventing the truth being released because of Savile’s royal connections.

The presenter also backed claims made by other former BBC presenters that Savile’s antics were well known at the time.

He said: “The idea that youngsters were prey – everybody knew that.

“I was not surprised at all. And the surprise is in a sense that that didn’t happen years ago.

“The establishment or who ever it is decided to keep it all quiet and decided to give him a knighthood. He was, to a certain amount, a friend of royalty.”

He added: “I do not know why it took so long to come to light. That is what I am curious about.

“Whether there is somewhere in Britain, some sort of censorship committee that we don’t know about that suppresses these thing and somebody gets together in a room and says ‘come on he was a friend of Prince Charles, it would look awfully bad on Prince Charles if we said he was a bit of a perv’.

“And someone decides ‘yes you are right, we will keep it quiet, nobody will ever find out.’

“I don’t know who that would be.”

Speaking after a question and answer session with students of Cambridge University’s historic debating society – The Union Society – on Tuesday, Oddie said Savile’s reputation was “just taken for granted.”

He said: “There was just this running sick joke that Jimmy Savile pestered the young youths of both sexes.

“It was just taken for granted. It doesn’t mean anyone thought they must do something about it – and it probably wasn’t realised how serious it was – it certainly wasn’t realised to the extent of the hospital – which is horrendous.

“When this came out it was not a surprise at all. The surprise is that it did not come out a lot earlier and the puzzlement is or the question is was it covered up or did people just chose to ignore it or was there an order and if so from whom, by whom and with whom saying we are not going to allow this to get published.

“It does make you think who would you look at. Would you look at the BBC, the police, would you look at the NHS hospital people? Did they all know and didn’t say?”

Oddie revealed there was a “naive groupies scene” at the time.

He said: “This is not a mitigating circumstance obviously, but the only thing I will say is that that was a time in history in television and radio and live shows where there was a sort of naive groupies scene.

“I do not think the girls were incredibly promiscuous, certainly not the younger ones.
“There were people who hung around after gigs and tried to get to the stars – or the disk jockeys.

“You haven’t half got a booby prize if you went for Cliff Richard and ended up with Jimmy Savile.”

He added: “The thing that you could not ignore was that it was the era of the sort of groupies.

“Not the heavy groupy, but it was an extension of those shots of the Beatles in the 60s where there is hundreds of girls crying and screaming and god knows what – well that was pretty rife.

“My wife was saying the other day about a friend of hers from way back when they went to see the Monkeys and the girl said ‘I am going to try and get in the dressing room’ and my wife said ‘he will only want one thing you know’ and she said ‘yes, I know. that is what I am going for’.

“But that is not quite the same thing as a paedophile – that was just rock bands and includes other people I am sure and is due to availability and other things. The 70s was like that.”

Oddie, who started on BBC radio with his show I’m Sorry I’ll Read That Again, reiterated claims that former director general of the BBC Mark Thompson must have known what was going on with Savile.

He said: “It is so extraordinary that there is any sort of mystery – when the ex head of the BBC Mark Thompson the other day said ‘I don’t know anything about it’.

“You worked at the BBC and you don’t know anything about it – don’t be ridiculous.

“That is absolute nonsense.”

Oddie claimed Savile “bribed his way out” of getting found out for molesting children in hospital because he was a large donor.

He said: “Anyone of that era knew something – he had a reputation for being a groper.

“The most awful aspect is the idea of molesting kids in hospital – that is just unbelievable. He was sort of bribing his way out of it by giving millions of pounds to the hospital – that is staggering.”

As well as Savile’s contact with children at the BBC, his interaction with sick youngsters at Stoke Mandeville Hospital, in Sussex, and Leeds General Infirmary, is also being investigated.

TAP - If the figure that holds the primary responsibility for the Savile fiasco is Prince Charles, then surely he is the one who should resign, not the hundreds of pathetic minions who did his bidding.

Union flags are fluttering, bunting is being hoisted, and excitement is mounting amongst the fawning peasants of Great Britain, as the country prepares for The Queen's Diamond Jubilee.

Whilst the serfs must wait 75 years to celebrate a Diamond Jubilee, godlike monarchs enjoy the momentous day fifteen years earlier; and so, on June 2nd, millions of Her Majesty's faithful subjects will celebrate sixty years of Queen Elizabeth's rule.

Don't mention the fact that our country is sinking under the weight of colossal debts racked up by a corrupt political and financial elite.

Keep quiet about the shameful succession of illegal and immoral wars fought by Liz's British armed forces, which have killed and injured untold numbers of people. Shhh! Don't dare to express the idea that we are all born equal. It's simply the talk of a gibbering lunatic.

We, the slaves of Britain, will not have our nice day spoiled!

We wish to remain in a state of wilful servility, cheerfully celebrating our own powerlessness, gleefully complicit in our own oppression, blindly supporting an institution and a system representing all that is wrong with humanity.

Will the Diamond Jubilee mark a last hurrah for the British monarchy? Unfortunately, if we are to believe recent polls, the answer appears a resounding "no". Depressingly, 80% of respondents voiced their support of the monarchy, with only 13% in favour of Britain becoming a republic.

Thankfully there are a minority of Brits who reject the role of fawning subjects to a parasitical royal family. The organisation Republic, who campaign for "a democratic alternative to the monarchy", are planning a high profile protest against the Diamond Jubilee on June 3rd. Republic have promised a “loud, bold and provocative” demonstration, to be held in full view of the Queen's royal barge as she disembarks at Tower Bridge in London.

Giving hope to those who question the reported upsurge in support for the monarchy, Republic's chief executive Graham Smith has issued an encouraging rallying call to fellow anti-monarchists, saying that

The heightened Palace PR campaign of the last eighteen months has already backfired – people are sick and tired of being told they must celebrate 60 years of one very privileged, very remote and very uninspiring head of state. The idea that the monarchy’s future is any safer as a result of the jubilee is completely laughable.

As the Western public continues its awakening to the exploitative agendas of a criminal elite, we can only hope that he is correct - and that support for the vampiric monarchy will be seen someday soon as absurd, reactionary, and wholly outdated.

Dead body found on royal front lawn raises questions about personal lives of the elite

In the alternative media we are known to cover some very controversial and sensitive topics. Many of us, myself included, normally prefer to stay with topics like war, banking, genetically modified food and the growing police state. These are all issues that are backed with mountains of cold hard evidence. However, there are some other issues that are equally as important, but far more difficult to bring up in the public arena.

One particular topic that is hotly debated in activist circles is the depravity of the private lives led by those in power, such as the British Royal Family. We know and understand that these people are capable and obviously guilty of directing some of the most horrific acts of violence seen on this planet, but all of this violence is most often carried out through organizations and other people so they can maintain their benevolent image.

Sadly, the reality and intentions of those in power is often far from benevolent. In almost every case of royalty and authority across the planet, and throughout history, we have seen time after time that those who lust for and hold power are driven to commit extreme acts of violence and authoritarianism. Even if mass murder and slavery were at one time more socially acceptable, that does not change the moral injustice that has taken place -- and it does not excuse the crimes of these historical aggressors.

Out of all of the bloodthirsty tyrannies in the world, the British Royal Family is without a doubt the most vile, in terms of their global influence, as well as their deep history of corruption and violence. If the native populations slaughtered by the British crown in the past century were tallied, there is no doubt in my mind that the body count would surpass that of Stalin and Hitler combined.

The queen holds over 1/6 of the world’s land, and this territory was in no way acquired by peaceful or legitimate means. We could even argue that the war crimes carried out by British colonies like America and Israel are also a direct result of the global policy that is handed down by the royal family and their cohorts in the banking industry.

With all of this being the case people still have a hard time believing that some really sick stuff may be happening behind the closed doors of those in power. There is plenty of evidence that makes the case for these kinds of accusations, but because these people control the police, the media and the entire public discourse, they are always able to sweep their crimes under the rug.

One such controversy has presented itself in the first weeks of 2012, when the body of a teenage girl was found on the royal family’s private estate in Sandringham, Norfolk. The media and the police are of course denying that there is any evidence linking the royal family to the body and claiming that any accusations at this point are purely circumstantial. However, they seem to be overlooking the history of mysterious deaths surrounding the royal family, as well as their involvement in human trafficking for the purposes of torture and sex slavery.

One thing that I personally find very curious about this developing storyline is that the victim here was not a local, but was in fact a woman that was from Eastern Europe, thousands of miles from the royal estate. The victim and a close friend were said to be staying in a migrant worker camp, in slave like conditions.

This is interesting because aristocratic elites with close ties to the Royal Family have actually been convicted of importing sex slaves from various areas of Eastern Europe. The Royal Family has even been implicated by many victims in this horrible kidnapping ring. Last year, billionaire hedge fund manager and close associate of the royal family, Jeffrey Epstein, was charged with various counts of kidnapping, pedophilia and human trafficking. Despite damning evidence and multiple witness testimonies, Epstein used his political pull and financial resources to beat the case and get a minimal sentence.

Due to this controversy Prince Andrew took a lot of heat from the public, as he was a very close friend of Epstein’s and spent a whole lot of time with him. Some victims in this case have even claimed that Epstein “shared” his sex slaves with the Royal Family and would present them in the form of “gifts”.

If we combine all of this information with the fact that this is not the first time that a dead body has mysteriously appeared on a royal estate in the past year, we have every right to be suspicious. What’s worse is that the royal family enjoyed their Boxing Day shoot, just yards away from the crime scene, just about a week before the body was discovered.

Now, I’ll admit, this evidence wouldn’t be enough to put someone away. However, if you or I were implicated in a similar situation, this evidence would without a doubt make us prime suspects in the murder, and justify the search of our belongings and full investigation into our activities.

Unfortunately, we do not yet live in a world where everyone is held to the same standards, so people who have silly costumes and own a vast amount of the planet will never even be looked at as potential suspects in a murder case, even if a dead body appears of their front lawn.

So much can be said about the Royal Family, from their relation to the historical Count Dracula, to their involvement in human trafficking, to their support of the Nazi regime. Prince harry has even been seen at parties dressed like Hitler, complete with swastika patch and all. As horrifying as all of this is, and as important as it is that we know these things, it is also important to understand that these transgressions are minor in comparison to the institutionalized violence that this bloodline and others employ through governments, corporations and multinational control systems such as the United Nations.

Joseph Stalin said "One death is a tragedy, one million is a statistic." This may not be true, but, sadly, this is how people look at things. So while the millions killed in the Middle East and elsewhere are a far greater crime than one body found on a royal estate, this is a tragedy that is easier for people to wrap their minds around. Therefore, digging deeper into this crime could expose the overall sentiment of the elite and push the public dialogue about war and oppression closer to reality.

Anti-monarchy demonstrations have been staged in the Canadian city of Montreal upon the arrival of the newly-wed English Royal couple.

The demonstrations, held on Saturday, forced Prince William and his wife, Catherine to swiftly enter the Saint-Justine Pediatric Hospital.

The protesters showed their anti-royal sentiments to the couple, calling for their return to Britain.

The protesters chanted, “Parasites go home!” and “We will never bend, Willy go home” and “Down with the Monarchy.”

“The monarchy is an obsolete institution, anti-democratic and sexist, and Quebec wants none of it”, Mario Beaulieu, a Professor at La Cité collégiale, said.

Furthermore, the Cap sur l’indépendance Network issued a statement addressing the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge as representatives of the British monarchy, expressing the desire of the majority of Quebec residents to abolish the monarchy.

“As representatives of the British Crown, your visit in Quebec is not welcome. It reminds us of the history of destruction and despicable acts which your institution perpetrated against our nation,” the statement said.

“The institution that you represent costs us approximately USD 10 million per year. We finance our own subordination to the Canadian nation. Recent surveys have shown that a vast majority of Quebecers wish to abolish the institutions inherited from the monarchy and to cut links completely with the British Crown,” it added.

The statement further enumerated some of the abuses and acts of injustice perpetrated by the British Crown against the Quebeckers.

“In 1755, more than 12,500 Acadians, out of a total population of 15,000, were deported by order of the British Crown. Between 7,500 and 9,000 died trying to escape or following their exile.”

“You have graciously recognized in 2003 the ‘human tragedy of the deportation’, through your Governor General, Adrienne Clarkson. You recognized it, but never apologized for it or repair the immense damages made. This violence persisted with the Patriot movement that you bloodily repressed in 1837-38.”

Anti-monarchy demonstrations are not unprecedented in the history of Quebec. Pro-independence rallies were held against the Queen in 1964 and eggs were hurled at Prince Charles and Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, as they visited Montreal in 2009.

More protests have been organized for Sunday as the royal couple plan to attend a ceremony in Quebec City.

Elizabeth 2 was crowned by fraud, and has been acting un-Lawfully ever since.

In the binding contract she signed to officially become the "queen" of Britain, she promised NOT to legislate herself, or allow others to do so. This of course she has failed to uphold in a massive way, having given royal assent to over 3,400 acts of parliament so far.

She has also breached that contract in many, many other ways as well.

Since Elizabeth has broken her contract with the British people, she is no longer the rightful queen of Britain (if she ever was...), which means she has absolutely no authority or power to bring legislated charges against ANYONE.

This very powerful information can be used to challenge the jurisdiction of ANY court in the commonwealth, by directly challenging the authority of Elizabeth herself (or "Regina" in the courts), and the information is so thoroughly documented, that no one can argue against it and win, because it is just so simple and straight-forward.

The Very Existence of the Queen Is Against Any Notion of Democracy

This is just one of a number of compelling charges set down by Morrissey in an article written for Hot Press, to coincide with the Queen's visit to Ireland

The Queen's visit to Ireland is part of a new Palace PR campaign to re-invent the Windsors. The message from the Queen will be the same as ever: who we are born to is more important than what we achieve in life.

It should be remembered by the Irish people that as recently as the turn of the 1980s the Queen supported Margaret Thatcher by not dismissing Thatcher as she allowed hunger strikers to die at the Maze Prison, most famously Bobby Sands, who was 27 years old. As Sands starved to death in protest at being tagged a 'criminal' and not a 'political prisoner' by the Thatcher government, the Queen sat in her Palace and said nothing. If the Queen had any human feelings for the Sands family or other hunger strikers then she did not express them.

The full meaning of the Monarchy is, like the Queen herself, a complete mystery to most people. It is protected from any investigations by ridiculous stories of trivia and wedding dresses and on-again-off-again soap-drama romances. The most revealing statement came from Commander Christine Jones of the Metropolitan Police last month, when she warned that any British people carrying anti-royal placards who are "seen in the vicinity of the royal wedding would be removed under the Public Order Act." This means that any political dissent in England is silenced in order to protect the royals, which in itself goes against every principle of democracy.

The very existence of the Queen and her now enormous family – all supported by the British taxpayer whether the British taxpayer likes it or not – is entirely against any notion of democracy, and is against freedom of speech. For a broad historical view of what the Queen is and how she "rules", examine Gaddafi or Mubarak, and see if you can spot any difference.

You won't be able to.

The Queen also has the power to give back the six counties to the Irish people, allowing Ireland to be a nation once again. The fact that she has not done so is Fascism in full flow. What else could it be? Name one other European country that is controlled by its neighbour?

New Film Shows Diana “Very Much Alive” After Car Crash

The film sets out to prove a cover-up by the “establishment” over the death of Princess Diana. It has caused outrage in sections of the British press and is not scheduled for a UK release.

Directed by actor Keith Allen and backed by Mohamed al-Fayed, father of Dodi, the film is being screened at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival on Friday.

Mr Allen describes his film as an “inquest into the inquest” of Princess Diana’s death. Of the controversial photo, Mr Allen wrote in the Daily Mail: “The photo is not used in the film for the purpose of shock.

“It is included as evidence, because it shows clearly that, although Diana had been injured in the crash, she was alert and very much alive. I repeat: it is not a picture of a dying woman.” Read more…

Deriding its critics as mad is an age-old British establishment trick. My “inquest of the inquest” film contains footage of Diana recalling how the royals wanted her consigned to a mental institution, and the inquest coroner repeatedly questioning the sanity of anyone who wondered if the crash was more than an accident. His chief target was Mohamed Al Fayed, a man I once profiled for a Channel 4 documentary. Before I met him, I’d half-believed the media caricature of him as a madman, driven nuts by the death of his son, and wildly accusing the Windsors of having planned the 1997 crash. However, I found a man who was sane and funny but frustrated that Britain wouldn’t hold an inquest into his son’s death. Michael Mansfield QC thought it unfair too, and fought for one to be held; which was why the longest inquest in British legal history eventually began in 2007.

Unlawful Killing is not about a conspiracy before the crash, but a provable conspiracy after the crash. A conspiracy organised not by a single scheming arch-fiend, but collectively by the British establishment – judges, lawyers, politicians, police chiefs, secret services, even newspaper editors – all of whom have been appointed to their positions because they are “a safe pair of hands”. Just as compass needles all point north without being told to, so these people instinctively know what is expected of them when the state’s interests are under threat and they act accordingly, quietly suppressing uncomfortable evidence or undermining the credibility of witnesses whose evidence contradicts the official narrative.

Consider just a fraction of what transpired. Over 100 significant witnesses were not called to the inquest, or refused to appear. Blood tests allegedly proving the drunkenness of the driver Henri Paul were deemed “biologically inexplicable” by a toxicologist. A British crash expert found that Diana’s seat belt had not been working. And so on.

Strangest of all was the media coverage of the verdict. Inquest evidence showed conclusively that the crash was caused by an unidentified white Fiat Uno and several unidentified motorcycles, vehicles that were certainly not paparazzi, because uncontested police evidence confirmed that the paparazzi were nowhere near the tunnel at the time of the crash. The jury understood this, bringing in a verdict of “unlawful killing” by unidentified “following vehicles”; yet within seconds, the BBC was misreporting that the jury had blamed the paparazzi, and the rest of the media meekly followed suit. Which is why – three years on – barely anyone realises what the jury’s troubling verdict really was.

Why is the film being premiered next week at Cannes, three years after the inquest ended? Because British lawyers insisted on 87 cuts before any UK release could be contemplated. So rather than butcher the film, or risk legal action, we’re showing it in France, then the US, and everywhere except the UK. Pity, because at a time when the mindless sugar rush of the royal wedding has been sending British Rrepublicans into a diabetic coma, it could act as a welcome antidote.

Establishment Paedophilia:

In March 2003, Tony Blair put Operation Ore under the official secrets act as it led to the arrest of a parliamentary aid to the cabinet office on child pornography offences. The investigstion threatened to lead to the heart of his cabinet right before the parliamentary vote to go to war with Iraq, and the ensuing scandal would have made a yes vote politically impossible with part of his cabinet answering to child porn charges.

Under a Freedom of Information Act Request (FOIR from here on in), UK activists were able to obtain a list of all MPs and Town Councellors who had been convicted, or who where being prosecuted for at the time, of sexual offences against children. Here is the full list:

The Conservative Party (Tories):

• Tory Party General election candidate, Michael Powell - Convicted and jailed for 3 years for downloading hardcore child porn.
• Tory Party Councillor (Wickbar/Bristol) Roger Talboys - Convicted and jailed for 6 years for multiple sex attacks on children.
• Tory Party MP (Billericay) Harvey Proctor - Stood trial for sex offences of a sado-masochistic nature against teenage boys, and was forced to resign.
• Tory Party Councillor ( Stratford-upon-Avon ) Christopher Pilkington - Convicted of downloading hardcore child porn on his PC. Placed on sex offenders register and forced to resign.

High Treason:

The definition of treason here is to allow a foreign power to take over the governing of the realm by deception and other underhand means. Modern British Royalty: Eugenicists, Nazis and Neo-Feudalists

The upcoming royal Wedding of William Mountbatten-Windsor, heir in waiting to the British throne has the UK media in a frenzy of vomit inducing worship and stomach churning sycophantic fawning. Even the US media is pouring over the royals to such an extent that commentators have pointed out that had the modern day corporate media covered the Revolutionary War, it would have firmly supported the British.

The US fought a bloody war of independence against British control of its government and economy, yet the American media has fast become fascinated with an institution that represents everything America is not. This despite the fact that in a recent poll only 6% of Americans said they were at all interested in the event.

Two billion people are estimated to watch this weekend’s royal wedding. Despite the three war fronts, radioactive meltdown in Japan, the evolving 2012 presidential field and any number of other stories, the media’s collective lens will be turned exclusively on a snobbish pompous ceremony that is costing already extremely strained British taxpayers tens of billions to stage.

While the British government balks at the unfolding events in Syria and elsewhere where protests and demonstrations are being brutally curbed, those wishing to protest the antiquated old world elitist values Britain is still forced to accept as “cultural” under the monarchy will be met with stern resistance and a gargantuan police presence this weekend on the streets of London.

Meanwhile, over 40 monarchs from around the world will take their seats at the wedding, among them the dictators and ambassadors from countries with appalling human rights records such as Swaziland, Saudi Arabia and Zimbabwe. Though he was invited, the Crown Prince of Bahrain, whose Gulf state has violently suppressed democracy protests in recent months, has respectfully declined, in order to avoid a public relations scandal. The leaders of Kuwait, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates and Oman, whose military forces have aided the vicious crackdown will all be there, however. The Libyan Ambassador to Britain had his invitation rescinded when it was recently decided that Libya should be bombed back into the stone age.

In addition, a gaggle of “celebrities” have been invited, blatantly in an attempt to whip up more media hype and place a 21st century context on what is essentially a medieval ceremonial show of power.

As London Independent writer and noted Republican Johann Hari has highlighted, the frenzy surrounding the royal family has “a subtly deforming effect on Britain’s character that the ultimate symbol of our country.”

“Our sovereign, is picked on the most snobbish criteria of all: darling, do you know who his father was? Kids in Britain grow up knowing that we all bow and curtsy in front of a person simply because of their unearned, uninteresting bloodline. This snobbery subtly soaks out through the society, tweaking us to be deferential to unearned and talentless wealth, simply because it’s there.”

The pomp and hype of this occasion is part of a deliberate ongoing social engineering campaign to rebuild celebrity and importance around a parasitic and tyrannical elite that still pulls all the strings on the world stage.

This was also emphatically emphasized during the first state visit to London by president Obama in 2009.

Prior to meeting the Queen and her notoriously racist husband, Prince Philip, Obama announced that he “loves” her and that “in the imagination of people throughout America” the queen stands for “decency” and “civility”.

How repugnantly ironic that the first black president of the so called “free world” should refer to the most entrenched prejudiced and elitist institution in Europe as an icon of “civility”!

How disgustingly deplorable that the president should call “decent” a bloodline that has for centuries declared itself as God’s appointed rulers over half of the planet, killing, torturing and maiming anyone who crosses it in order to hold on to that mantle.

My apologies for sending this to multiple emails – this news is important and needs to get out quick, and these are the only Infowars addresses I have.

My boyfriend, Charlie Veitch of the Love Police (UK) was arrested today from our own home on suspicion of a ‘conspiracy to cause a public nuisance’ tomorrow at the Royal Wedding. By nuisance, they mean speaking freely in a public space, which is what Charlie does. The threats to our civil liberties have really become that severe, and the only way to stop our tyrannical government dead in its tracks is its complete overthrow through Lawful Rebellion under Article 61 of the 1215 Magna Carta.

Therefore, I now declare absolute Lawful Rebellion against the tyrannies of the British Government, and will use every power afforded to me under the 1215 Magna Carta, the 1689 Bill of Rights, and the 1700 Act of Settlement to seek its complete and utter overthrow.

...UPDATE! - More Pre-Crime Arrests...

Over a dozen British police officers engaged in a "pre-crime" arrest of a university professor and a street theater group yesterday, in what activists called a "Minority Report"-style crackdown ahead of the royal wedding.

Professor Chris Knight, 68, a former anthropology lecturer at the University of East London, had planned to engage in a bit of street theater with a group of activists that were dressed in medieval garb. According to reports, the group had constructed a fake guillotine and planned to stage a mock execution of Prince Andrew Edward, the queen's second oldest son.

A member of the group who was not arrested told The Guardian that the other two activists police roped in were Camilla Power and Patrick Macroidan.

The police apparently learned of the activists' plans through surveillance methods, then staged the arrest outside Knight's home in south east London last night, before the wedding got underway.

A police spokesman told The Guardian they were arrested on the charge of "suspicion of conspiracy to cause public nuisance and breach of the peace."

The group, Meltdown UK, had been planning a "Zombie Wedding" to mark the royals' festivities.

"RIGHT ROYAL ORGY – RUMPY PUMPY AND GUILLOTINES," their website declared. "[We'll] have a spanking new working guillotine, which shall be surrounded by all manner of rumpy pumpy on the duvet day of all duvet days, by order of the Government of the Dead... Some Cuts Are Necessary! May Royal Heads Roll!"

The group added that their street theater would be a "non-terrorist event."

In video published to YouTube, Professor Knight, who now lectures at the University of Comenius in Slovakia, is seen laying down on the pavement, forcing officers to carry him into their vehicle.

Knight lost his tenure at the University of East London in 2009, after he made statements ahead of the G20 meeting in London that management objected to.

He reportedly told a BBC radio station: "We are going to be hanging a lot of people like Fred the Shred from lampposts on April Fool’s Day and I can only say let’s hope they are just effigies. To be honest, if he winds us up any more I’m afraid there will be real bankers hanging from lampposts and let’s hope that that doesn’t actually have to happen."

But anyone watching the queen unveil the government’s legislative agenda at the State Opening of Parliament here in Britain last week, where that very scene took place, would have noticed something even more jarring. There was the lord chancellor, Jack Straw — former socialist, former head of the radical National Union of Students — reverting to the old obsequious tradition of walking down the steps of the throne backward away from the queen, so as not to turn his back on her.

In the Coronation ceremony of 2 June 1953, one of the highlights was when The Queen made her Coronation Oath (taken from the Order of Service for the Coronation).

The Queen having returned to her Chair, (her Majesty having already on Tuesday, the 4th day of November, 1952, in the presence of the two Houses of Parliament, made and signed the Declaration prescribed by Act of Parliament), the Archbishop standing before her shall administer the Coronation Oath, first asking the Queen,

Madam, is your Majesty willing to take the Oath?

And the Queen answering,

I am willing.

The Archbishop shall minister these questions; and The Queen, having a book in her hands, shall answer each question severally as follows:

Archbishop. Will you solemnly promise and swear to govern the Peoples of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the Union of South Africa, Pakistan, and Ceylon, and of your Possessions and the other Territories to any of them belonging or pertaining, according to their respective laws and customs?

Queen. I solemnly promise so to do.

Archbishop. Will you to your power cause Law and Justice, in Mercy, to be executed in all your judgements?

Queen. I will.

Archbishop. Will you to the utmost of your power maintain the Laws of God and the true profession of the Gospel? Will you to the utmost of your power maintain in the United Kingdom the Protestant Reformed Religion established by law? Then the Queen arising out of her Chair, supported as before, the Sword of State being carried before her, shall go to the Altar, and make her solemn Oath in the sight of all the people to observe the premisses: laying her right hand upon the Holy Gospel in the great Bible (which was before carried in the procession and is now brought from the Altar by the Arch-bishop, and tendered to her as she kneels upon the steps), and saying these words:

The things which I have here before promised, I will perform and keep. So help me God.

Then the Queen shall kiss the Book and sign the Oath.

The ‘British Constitution Group’ makes the following observation concerning the oath taken by Queen Elizabeth II at her coronation ceremony:

“Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, whose position has been usurped by a corrupt House of Commons and who has been forced into the destruction of her Kingdom and the breaking of her coronation oath, no longer governs us in accordance with our laws and customs, as was the situation when she was elected by the people as our Sovereign and our Head of State.”

Above all, Britain’s accession to the European Union Treaty of Lisbon that was signed by the EU member states on 13 December 2007, and entered into force on 1 December 2009, effectively ended Britain’s long history as a sovereign kingdom. The treaty was therefore the largest constitutional change since the signing of Magna Carta and was undertaken without the British people being formally consulted on the matter as had previously been promised by Westminster politicians prior to their election.

Additionally, there is evidence that such politicians misled the British people about the real nature and consequences of The Treaty of Lisbon yet, in spite of pro-treaty propaganda and even without formal consultation, there was widespread misgivings amongst the people who did not freely and openly give their assent to the matter or mandate the body politic to do it on their behalf. The solemn case can be made therefore that the British Monarch, Queen Elizabeth II, was constitutionally and morally bound to withhold her Royal Assent from the treaty and in not withholding that Assent was in breech of her coronation oath. Whether, as alleged by the BCG, she was “forced” to break her oath or not is irrelevant. Given such a serious breech it is therefore the lawful constitutional right of British people to remedy this matter. I believe that remedy is not only the people’s lawful right, it is a DUTY of every self-respecting British national of whatever ethnic or religious background. In such circumstances the British Constitution Group make the following further observations:

“Six British Monarchs have been deposed in one form or another, having been deselected for their failure to maintain the rights and liberties of the People. They were Ethelred, Richard II, Henry VI, Charles I (executed), James II and Edward VIII.

We have a tri-partite government in this country. Parliament, the Judiciary and the Monarchy are intended to provide protections and limits upon each other. One of those limiting powers is Royal Assent. Since Queen Anne. no British Monarch has withheld Royal Assent from an Act of Parliament. Nevertheless it remains there as the exclusive authority of the Monarch, to be used when necessary on behalf of the People. As such, several of our Sovereigns since Anne, especially the present Queen, have broken their Coronation Oath by refusing to withhold Royal Assent from unconstitutional statute. While Government is tri-partite, we the People must recognise our role in demanding our good governance. Remember what John Adams said?

… whether the crown and the people in such a case will not see the necessity of uniting in a remedy.

If we are unhappy with the manner in which we are governed, we have no right to a remedy until we are willing to act in our own defence. We must demand that our Monarch lives by the oath she took. If she does not, we must seek redress elsewhere.”

Dear William and Kate,

A thousand apologies for this tardy response to your late-arriving invitation! (I must confess, after my first question, “Why me—a humble-as-kippers American poet?,” my second question was: “In this era of girdle-tightening austerity, why the gilded note; would some churls think that ‘bad form’?”)

The fact is, I am rather certain this invitation is a mistake; that it was, in fact, meant for Gregory Corso, a renowned “Beat” poet with whom I’ve been confused for decades, thanks, no doubt, to similar assonance and consonance in our names. If it was so intended, that would also be a mistake, since Gregory is no longer whinnying with us.

Frankly, I wonder why you’d bother to invite any sort of “literary type” at all—especially a pariah type like me? Why not stick with the safer bets: a Thomas Friedman, say, worth some $50,000,000 of married-into loot--a bloviating bloke who thinks your flat little world just fine?

Why me? Did I win some sort of lottery? Each day I’m deluged with news from Nigeria, Liberia and Malaria, congratulating me for winning billions in lotteries I had no idea I’d entered. To claim my prizes, I merely must send my birth certificate, finger prints, foot prints and certified eye scans. (Obama-type birth certificates will not do.)

And now, as I have declined the lottery invites, I must also decline your kind invitation. The fact is: I don’t know you. What I’ve seen of you on the inescapable mass media—the covers of magazines spying on me as I check out my Raisin Bran, the flashy images on CNN ad nauseum--quite honestly, I do not like. William is far too toothy, seems a bit serpentine, and Kate is too pretty to be with him--except for all that loot!

I mean: What did that guy do to deserve such luchre? (What does anyone do to “deserve” it?) Cause, you see, it’s getting kind of tight around here—and where you are, too—and a lot of us peasants are beginning to think: there’s an inverse proportion between money and democracy. The bigger the palace, the greater the malice!

I think it was Balzac who said, Behind every great fortune, there’s a crime. Thomas Paine went even further: he showed how the fortunes of the monarchies were based on the accumulated spoils of war; or taxing peasants into penury; outright theft from other “nobles,” and on and on. Why grovel before such ciminals? he wondered.

So, in 1776 and 1789, in 1848 and 1914, in 1948 and 1959—in America, in France, all over Europe, in Russia, China, Cuba, and at other times and in other places around this hurting world, we’ve thrown your kind into the sea or under the guillotines, or stood you before firing squads—to make you stop! Stop the thievery, stop the lies, stop the wars that line your bottomless pockets. (Okay. … Sometimes, as in Russia, we’ve gone over the top. No need ever to hurt children! If only your side felt the same way! Because you’re hurting children exponentially worse—all the time!)

Every time we think we’re done with you, you come back like raddish indigestion, repeating some unpleasant taste, worse each time belched up.
