I don’t know about you but, as far as state sponsored television is concerned, I’m very much in the ‘what a waste of taxpayer’s money’ camp.
In the UK we have the BBC which is a worldwide propaganda machine being well oiled by gullible taxpayers who are blissfully unaware that they’re being fed a constant diet of propaganda via soaps, documentaries and so called ‘news’ PROGRAMS. The only thing you don’t get on the BBC is mindless adverts for junk you can’t afford unless it’s their own ads for their own junk products of course.
RTE in Ireland differs in that you get the mindless adverts for junk you can’t afford as well as the propaganda.
However, the real issue here is that we all pay what is called a TV License to the government to hand over to the respective broadcasters to fill our screens with their PROGRAMS; the government AUTHORISED PROGRAMS.
If you’re happy with that then the brainwashing has done its job on you; if not then keep reading.
Communications Minister, Pat Rabbitte of the Labour Party in Ireland has suggested that RTE has to cut costs through wage cuts. Yep, wage cuts being advocated by a party who supposedly support the poor advocating wage cuts for ordinary working people who are already suffering close to destitution through massive, already imposed tax hikes and other large tax grabs still to come including a housing charge and water charges in the wettest country in Europe… Funny huh?
These wage cuts will only apply to the lower end of the wage slave totem pole and will not apply to the ‘stars’ who all enjoy 6 figure salaries to push government propaganda directly into your living room and implant it in your mind.
How about RTE gets rid of those to start with and leave the workers alone to scrape by on what they have?
Anyway… getting back to the real reason for this article.
There is no law which can force you to pay a TV License to RTE or the BBC!
THAT IS A FACT!
The TV License is a CONTRACT.
CONTRACTS must be agreed between two or more parties.
In the case of the TV License the government demands the money from you through the issuance of a contract which they never tell you is a contract. In other words, they act with deceit. Nothing new there then!
However, they can only make that demand if you agree to their terms and conditions by engaging in the contract agreement with them by filling in your details on their contract form. And guess what…. YOU DON’T HAVE TO!
If you do contract then you have to pay, because you’ve agreed to pay.
However, there is a simple way to avoid this deceitful trap conveniently posted through your letterbox.
If you are a new occupier of a property, you’ll get a letter through the door from the TV Licensing authority in whatever jurisdiction you’re in, either from the BBC or RTE addressed to the ‘Legal Occupier’ or equivalent in Ireland.
The way to deal with this is, firstly, not to open the letter and to simply stick a label over the address panel stating in nice bold letters:
NO CONTRACT – RETURN TO SENDER
I DO NOT RECOGNISE YOU.
I DO NOT UNDERSTAND YOUR INTENT.
IT IS NOT MY WILL OR WISH TO CONTRACT.
I DO NOT HAVE AN INTERNATIONAL TREATY WITH YOU.
NO ASSURED VALUE NO LIABILITY.
RETURN TO SENDER.
You then put it in a post box and it will be returned to them. This will result in further letters, in my case 3, which you simply treat in exactly the same manner, returning them without opening them. I have done this and have now gone full circle whereby I have just received the same style of letter as the first one I received. This seems to follow a 6 month cycle which is the standard letting term here. I guess they’re hoping that a new tennent has now moved in to this address whom they can now attempt to deceive.
If you already have a TV License it will lapse on the anniversary of your previous year’s payment. Regardless of whether your name is on the envelope, you treat it in exactly the same way as above as the TV License is an annual contract.
THIS IS NOT A JOKE!
You have no obligation or liability to pay any fee to the BBC or RTE unless you contract with them.
This is just a small piece of the puzzle in terms of fees and fines the state deceives the public into believing they are liable for. Others include parking fines, speeding fines, non-payment of business rates and other such victimless ‘crimes’ which contravene Common Law.
Under Common Law, the prevailing law of the land in Britain and Ireland, there must be a victim.
In this age of ‘AUSTERITY’, where we’re being told we must cut back on our own essential needs and wants, let me suggest that if the state wants ‘AUSTERITY’, that we give the state ‘AUSTERITY’ on our terms in ways which we can affect them without breaking the law.
Non-payment of the TV License is one such method which all of us should use to keep a little more of our own money for the welfare of our own families instead of feeding fat cat parasitic ‘stars’ and the executives of RTE and the BBC!

For the past century or so the government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland have been committing acts of gross treason against We the People. It is time that we had our own "Arab Spring" here in the UK - perhaps a British Summer, if you will.
Instead of my usual country overview in these posts, I am going to do something a little different. I am going to list a small proportion of the crimes against We the People that I know of so that you all know why the UK Regime needs to be overthrown, and then discuss ways and means of doing so peacefully and lawfully...
In March 2003, Tony Blair put Operation Ore under the official secrets act as it led to the arrest of a parliamentary aid to the cabinet office on child pornography offences. The investigstion threatened to lead to the heart of his cabinet right before the parliamentary vote to go to war with Iraq, and the ensuing scandal would have made a yes vote politically impossible with part of his cabinet answering to child porn charges.
Under a Freedom of Information Act Request (FOIR from here on in), UK activists were able to obtain a list of all MPs and Town Councellors who had been convicted, or who where being prosecuted for at the time, of sexual offences against children. Here is the full list:

The definition of treason here is to allow a foreign power to take over the governing of the realm by deception and other underhand means. The Communitarian European Union Dictatorship is a foreign power, and under our written constitution, that being the 1215 Magna carta, the 1689 Bill of rights, and the 1700 Act of Settlement, the signing of the six European Union treaties with the same is unconstitutional, illegal and treasonous. The Prince Consort, Prince Philip:

The Houses of Parliament, that being the House of Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and the House of Commons:
That they did conspire to bring the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland into the Communitarian European Union Dictatorship illegally and against our Constitution, thus committing acts of both High Treason and Misprision of Treason. Therefore, they should be brought to the Supreme Court of this land and put on trial for High Treason and Misprision of Treason with extreme prejudice and in chains, and that upon conviction for High Treason and Misprision of Treason the Death Penalty should be sought under our Common Law.

The only option left open to us now is to peacefully and lawfully overthrow the entire political system of the United kingdom, before we find ourselves living in a country that resembles the former DDR under the tyranny of the Stasi. The threats to our civil liberties have really become that severe, and the only way to stop our tyrannical government dead in its tracks is its complete overthrow through Lawful Rebellion under Article 61 of the 1215 Magna Carta.
Therefore, I now declare absolute Lawful Rebellion against the tyrannies of the British Government, and will use every power afforded to me under the 1215 Magna Carta, the 1689 Bill of Rights, and the 1700 Act of Settlement to seek its complete and utter overthrow.

...UPDATE! - More Pre-Crime Arrests...
Over a dozen British police officers engaged in a "pre-crime" arrest of a university professor and a street theater group yesterday, in what activists called a "Minority Report"-style crackdown ahead of the royal wedding.
Professor Chris Knight, 68, a former anthropology lecturer at the University of East London, had planned to engage in a bit of street theater with a group of activists that were dressed in medieval garb. According to reports, the group had constructed a fake guillotine and planned to stage a mock execution of Prince Andrew Edward, the queen's second oldest son.
A member of the group who was not arrested told The Guardian that the other two activists police roped in were Camilla Power and Patrick Macroidan.
The police apparently learned of the activists' plans through surveillance methods, then staged the arrest outside Knight's home in south east London last night, before the wedding got underway.
A police spokesman told The Guardian they were arrested on the charge of "suspicion of conspiracy to cause public nuisance and breach of the peace."
The group, Meltdown UK, had been planning a "Zombie Wedding" to mark the royals' festivities.
"RIGHT ROYAL ORGY – RUMPY PUMPY AND GUILLOTINES," their website declared. "[We'll] have a spanking new working guillotine, which shall be surrounded by all manner of rumpy pumpy on the duvet day of all duvet days, by order of the Government of the Dead... Some Cuts Are Necessary! May Royal Heads Roll!"
The group added that their street theater would be a "non-terrorist event."
In video published to YouTube, Professor Knight, who now lectures at the University of Comenius in Slovakia, is seen laying down on the pavement, forcing officers to carry him into their vehicle.
Knight lost his tenure at the University of East London in 2009, after he made statements ahead of the G20 meeting in London that management objected to.
He reportedly told a BBC radio station: "We are going to be hanging a lot of people like Fred the Shred from lampposts on April Fool’s Day and I can only say let’s hope they are just effigies. To be honest, if he winds us up any more I’m afraid there will be real bankers hanging from lampposts and let’s hope that that doesn’t actually have to happen."

A huge demonstration of the whole working class movement, the trade unions, youth and communities suffering cuts will take place on 26 March.
The march will certainly see hundreds of thousands — perhaps over a million people take to the streets of London.
The importance of this demonstration cannot be overemphasised.
In the same way that the 10 November student demonstration kicked off a new youth movement that shook the Con Dems, this demonstration can be the start of a mass movement involving millions of people — the whole of society — in protests, occupations and strikes to nail the millionaire Tories into an early coffin.
REVOLUTION has always been clear that the way to destroy this government is through a general strike — where every trade unionist in Britain stops work at the same time, supported by millions on the streets.
This is the message we will be bringing to the march, and if hundreds of thousands of young people attend to push this message, we will change the shape of Britain for years to come. And if we don’t, the Con Dems will.

By now videos of the events in Birkenhead County Court on 7th March 2011 will have been seen around the world. If one looks closely, they were in the good old British tradition of protest. The people there had gone beyond the "muttering amongst themselves in pubs and at bus stops" stage of discontent with the Establishment, through "someone ought to do something about it" to "I will do something".
I strongly suspect that for each person present on the day, there were tens of thousands who agreed wholeheartedly with them "and felt themselves accursed they were not there" (to quote Shakespeare) and now are looking forward to the next opportunity to publicly express their discontent. And the Establishment knows this too.
The people who were there - and close inspection of the footage will confirm this - were from all walks of life and parts of the UK and shared our traditional values of insisting on fair play whilst maintaining our standards of politeness and good humour. They ranged from a 90 year old granny from Newcastle who can be seen politely putting the hapless Council officials sitting in the front row of the Courtroom right on a few things to some scary looking "Scottish Sovereigns" in full war paint in the Crowd outside.
Do not mistake the volume of sound that the crowd generated with violence. Queues were formed by police and protestors going in and out of the Court. No policeman’s hats were knocked off (a traditional sign of severe discontent amongst the British). Black umbrellas bearing “Lawful Rebellion” stickers were brandished. No-one was hurt.
No one was hurt, except the man in the green fleece jacket who was arrested in the Court as he tried to get to the Judges exit door from the Court in order to prevent his escape. He was handcuffed and his wrists were chaffed. He took it well, vigorously protested his innocence verbally and encouraged his supporters to start a cry of "welease wodger" (a reference to Roger Hayes and the stuttering Roman official in the Monty Python film "Life of Brian"). The British sense of humour intact and another warning sign for the Establishment. People are beginning to laugh at them.
While this was going on, behind them can be seen "Judge" Peake (not on duty until he has confirmed that he is on oath, of course) wearing a "modernised" Judicial Robe that looked suspiciously like a long dress and a hint of eye shadow. A sign of a decadent establishment perhaps?
Moments before he had uttered the famous last words "I did not think so many people would be interested in your bankruptcy Mr Hayes". Now a large gentleman in a black jacket was confirming that the Judge himself was under arrest for treason and contempt of Court and reassuring him that he would not be hurt.
The Judge, to give him credit and entering into the spirit of things , apparently said "I suppose that the case is adjourned. I hand it over to you". The noise level in the room increased further, and the Judge was bundled out of the room by Court officials. No matter. We know his name and where he works, we can get back to him later. "Escape" is a common law offence but it is the least of his problems.

Celebrate tonight the emancipation of Egypt with her sons and her daughters. Remember her Martyrs, for their blood was not spilled in vain. They are proud of their compatriots who have endured to the end.
We, the People of Good Conscience of this world declare that tomorrow we shall don our armour again in the fight for the Emancipation of the rest of the countries of the Maghreb. The fires of freedom have been lit in the hearts of men and women and children all over the region, and while it is burning brightest, NOW is the time to offer our support and skills to these very same people.
To Egypt and Tunisia:

Your "justice" is no justice at all when the innocent can be imprisoned if they are poor, and the guilty can get away with their crimes if they are rich. It is time to take our country back from all the criminals who have taken control of our once great nation. So now is the time for peaceful revolution, for national strikes to cripple our criminal government and acts of mass civil disobedience. They cannot kill us all, and those who do die shall be martyrs.
