Despite his massive success and goofball persona, Canadian-born comedy actor Jim Carrey has spoken in the past of having suffered bouts of depression. And over the past few years he has begun to reveal a deeper, more spiritual side to his nature.

Jim has been on a search for ultimate meaning, a search largely inspired by the teachings of Eckhart Tolle.

The German-born author of A New Earth and The Power of Now, Eckhart, who now lives in Canada, teaches that most of humanity is captive to the mind and obsessive thinking, patterns that can be broken through meditation and other techniques.

Jim Carrey says that through Eckhart's teachings he has come to understand how his own suffering comes from fixating on thoughts. As he explains it, he had become locked in his own mind in part because of a childhood spent trying to entertain his terribly ill mother.

But after years of seeking he has finally had a spiritual breakthrough, a moment of enlightenment in which he realised for himself that "heaven" is found right here in the present moment. And having had his own breakthrough, he now says, "I want to take as many people with me as I can!"

In June 2009, Jim Carrey shared the spiritual spotlight with Eckhart Tolle and other speakers at the first meeting of the Global Alliance for Transformational Entertainment (GATE), held in Los Angeles. Jim Carrey is an obvious Sage-type soul if ever there was one, doing what Sages do best in such films as The Mask, Dumb and Dumber, Liar Liar, The Truman Show, Yes Man and A Series of Unfortunate Events. It is to his credit that he has sought for meaning beyond the trappings of ego, fame and fortune, and especially that he has managed to set aside his natural Sage tendency to (over-)perform in order to communicate so candidly about his experience.

The Eclipses of late 2010 and 2011 will affect the Galactic Center, preparing us for embarking on a "Galactocentric Consciousness." I will speak at length about the nature of eclipses and the potency of this one in particular as well as to communicate some very important information about the The Dragons’ Head and Tail, and the mythology of the Galactic Center.

The Purpose of Eclipses: The Dragon's Head and Tail

Technically, the nodes of the moon are the place where the Moon’s orbit intersects the path of the Sun. Where the Moon crosses the Sun going upward is the ascending point called the North Node, while the Moon descending is moving south of the Sun, and so is called the South Node. Because the Sun is the heart of the solar system and our personal vitality and life force, and the Moon is the waxing and waning of our emotions and our instinctual reactions and needs, the darkening of one of these primary luminaries has always foretold major personal and collective transformations.

As many of us are aware, the heroic quest culminates with the mythical "slaying of the dragon." In astrology, the dragon is associated with Rahu and Ketu, the nodes of the Moon, which are the dragon's head and tail. In Alchemy, the "slaying of the Dragon" was a metaphor for the Great Work: the shaman-alchemist’s heroic battle with the slippery serpentine forces of the unconscious. One's heroic duty involves confronting the shadow forces and transcending their vicious-circle tendencies.

Winter Solstice finds Mercury in Sagittarius conjunct the Sun with a large ‘stellium’ of planets in Capricorn – Pallas Athene, Moon’s North Node, Pluto and Mars. All this, with a Total Lunar Eclipse earlier that morning at 08:13 UT/GMT and the Full Moon forming a Grand Cross for several hours, will make for a highly intense and focussed Solstice.

The Grand Cross is formed by the South Node Lunar Eclipse in opposition to Mercury, Sun, Pallas Athene, Moon’s North Node and Pluto; on the other axis, Juno is in opposition to the Jupiter – Uranus conjunction. The Grand Cross lasts from around 18:00 UT/GMT on 20th December, until around midday on 21st

The South Node Lunar Eclipse means that this is about letting go of our past mental (Moon in Gemini) and emotional attachments (S. Node is in Cancer), so that we can being to review the details of how we are going to move forward (Retrograde Mercury & Sun in Sagittarius), and then put them into action with clarity, purpose and resolve (Pallas, N. Node & Pluto in Capricorn). Holding the balance in all this is the opposition from Juno to Jupiter and Uranus; we cannot put the plans for our new vision into action until we have healed and moved into Right Relationship with our past. This is an essential part of the major healing process that was triggered last February by the Chiron – Neptune conjunction, and will be on-going until 2012 and beyond.

The Solstice

By the time that the Solstice occurs (23:39 UT), the Grand Cross will have disappeared, but the recently eclipsed Moon will continue with the process of emotional release of our old patterns, comfort zones and deeply held emotional attachments that are no longer serving our best interests. The more we can let go, the more profound will be the rebirth, after the Winter Solstice.

The ‘stellium’ of planets with the Sun are bringing the combination of the rational and intuitive mind, combining with the personal and spiritual will in order to focus on our spiritual purpose, so that we may clearly, pragmatically and uncompromisingly see our way forward, and act on it.

DNA Can Be Influenced And Reprogrammed By Words And Frequencies Russian DNA Discoveries

The human DNA is a biological Internet and superior in many aspects to the artificial one. The latest Russian scientific research directly or indirectly explains phenomena such as clairvoyance, intuition, spontaneous and remote acts of healing, self healing, affirmation techniques, unusual light/auras around people (namely spiritual masters), the mind’s influence on weather patterns and much more.

In addition, there is evidence for a whole new type of medicine in which DNA can be influenced and reprogrammed by words and frequencies WITHOUT cutting out and replacing single genes.

Only 10% of our DNA is being used for building proteins. It is this subset of DNA that is of interest to western researchers and is being examined and categorized. The other 90% are considered "junk DNA. The Russian researchers, however, convinced that nature was not dumb, joined linguists and geneticists in a venture to explore those 90% of "junk DNA". Their results, findings and conclusions are simply revolutionary!

According to them, our DNA is not only responsible for the construction of our body but also serves as data storage and communication. The Russian linguists found that the genetic code, especially in the apparently useless 90%, follows the same rules as all our human languages. To this end they compared the rules of syntax (the way in which words are put together to form phrases and sentences), semantics (the study of meaning in language forms) and the basic rules of grammar.

They found that the alkalines of our DNA follow regular grammar and do have set rules just like our languages. So human languages did not appear coincidentally but are a reflection of our inherent DNA.

Lunar Epoch-Eclipse

Much has been written about the Mayan calendar's "apocalypse" date of December 21st, 2012. Indeed, many galactic anomalies occur during this time which some experts have speculated will cause significant problems on Earth. However, some say that the lunar eclipse happening December 21st of this year (2010) may be a great revealing of things to come. Furthermore, they suggest it may provide a powerful window to make a collective choice about the direction of the coming apocalypse.

The word apocalypse has been enhanced to mean "the end of the world" or "the destruction of everything." Researchers who adopt this view when studying the possible effects of the coming galactic alignment usually determine that total geological devastation is upon us. They usually refer to effects from solar maximum predictions, magnetic pole shifts, new galactic radiation fields, etc. -- which are all possible Surely it is easy to derive scientific theories of how these type of events will cause havoc on the planet.

However, apocalypse, as it is purely translated, actually means a "great revealing/revelation" or "unveiling" or "end of a cycle," which is different than the commonly accepted version from the Bible's Book of Revelation. Most point to ancient civilizations such as the Mayans, the Hopi Indians, and even modern religions to provide insight into the change of our current earthly cycle. This great awakening is something that some "New Age" spiritual movements and astrologists have also claimed for years.

Author of the book The Choice: Using Conscious Thought and Physics of the Mind to Reshape the World , Mike Bara, makes the argument that the power of collective thought can change the outcome of the coming 2012 apocalypse. In other words, we have a conscious "choice" in the outcome should we choose to exercise it. It's similar to using the invisible power of thought described in the book, but only for the greater good, not personal material gain.

Just as the physical world has been proven to have vibrational characteristics, it is also proven that thoughts -- especially focused thoughts like in prayer or meditation -- manifest into waveform that can effect the physical health of an individual. In turn, it stands to reason that if our thoughts manifest as permanent vibrations imprinted into the ocean of energy, that eventually if enough people projected positive thoughts of love and peace the entire ocean could be purified by it.

Bara also proposes that the Hopi Indians may have predicted the lunar eclipse that is to occur next week on December 21st, exactly two years before the Mayan calendar ends. He says they refer to a great unveiling prior to the end of the cycle that spans the globe from east to west -- hinting at next week's lunar eclipse that begins in China and ends in the Mt.Shasta region of California. At the very least, Bara believes the eclipse may provide a cosmic magnifier for collective thoughts -- presenting an opportunity for conscious humans to powerfully stamp an imprint of their desires into the vibrational matrix.

Clearly, these concepts are still out-of-touch for the mainstream, especially since this knowledge has been hidden in our modern society. However, researchers claim that the elite rulers are well aware of this reality, and they know that each individual has infinite power to affect this reality. This is evident by their odd rituals to imprint negative vibrational density, and their extraordinary masonic knowledge of harnessing invisible energies in structures like pyramids and obelisks. They go to great lengths to suppress humanity's access to knowledge to ensure we continue to believe that we are small and weak.
Many believe that the coming apocalypse is nothing to be feared; rather, it is a welcome transformation or enlightenment of what has been hidden. As this significant astronomical date approaches, is it any wonder why the elite are moving so rapidly to clamp down on free speech and silence protesters who are beginning to wake up?

There's no way of knowing for sure what the future will bring, but the science seems clear that each of us possesses the power to effect the collective reality through our projection of thoughts. Although it cannot be statistically proven that the coming eclipse will carry with it transformational energy, at the very least it provides us with an excuse to have a party and howl positive vibes to the moon and beyond.

So, what can it hurt? Go out Tomorrow and send your most joyous feelings and thoughts into the night. Maybe, just maybe, we can make a powerful imprint of love, joy, and peace into our deliberately contaminated vibrational ocean.

The Japanese monkey, Macaca fuscata, had been observed in the wild for a period of over 30 years.
In 1952, on the island of Koshima, scientists were providing monkeys with sweet potatoes dropped in the sand. The monkeys liked the taste of the raw sweet potatoes, but they found the dirt unpleasant.
An 18-month-old female named Imo found she could solve the problem by washing the potatoes in a nearby stream. She taught this trick to her mother. Her playmates also learned this new way and they taught their mothers too.
This cultural innovation was gradually picked up by various monkeys before the eyes of the scientists.
Between 1952 and 1958 all the young monkeys learned to wash the sandy sweet potatoes to make them more palatable.
Only the adults who imitated their children learned this social improvement. Other adults kept eating the dirty sweet potatoes.
Then something startling took place. In the autumn of 1958, a certain number of Koshima monkeys were washing sweet potatoes -- the exact number is not known.
Let us suppose that when the sun rose one morning there were 99 monkeys on Koshima Island who had learned to wash their sweet potatoes.
Let's further suppose that later that morning, the hundredth monkey learned to wash potatoes.
THEN IT HAPPENED!
By that evening almost everyone in the tribe was washing sweet potatoes before eating them.
The added energy of this hundredth monkey somehow created an ideological breakthrough!
But notice.
A most surprising thing observed by these scientists was that the habit of washing sweet potatoes then jumped over the sea --
Colonies of monkeys on other islands and the mainland troop of monkeys at Takasakiyama began washing their sweet potatoes.
Thus, when a certain critical number achieves an awareness, this new awareness may be communicated from mind to mind.
Although the exact number may vary, this Hundredth Monkey Phenomenon means that when only a limited number of people know of a new way, it may remain the conscious property of these people.
But there is a point at which if only one more person tunes-in to a new awareness, a field is strengthened so that this awareness is picked up by almost everyone!

It is with deep sadness and regret that we inform you that Hamish Miller died 25th January. He passed over peacefully and happily at home after a gentle and joyful beloved Burn's Night with his wife Ba.

There will be a small private funeral for the family. We are invited to join in spirit by lighting a candle for Hamish and his vision and we will email again when we know the date and the time. Then the Parallel Community Open Day on the 8th May at Treviscoe will be a Celebration of Hamish to which we hope as many as possible will be able to come.

Hamish's vision was great and his desire passionate for everyone to come together, envision and build a kinder world based on mutal trust, respect and love for each other and our beautiful planet.

May we each smile more warmly at everyone we meet today and, in honour of a remarkable man, build our energy towards all that Parallel Community stands for...and now take that energy forwards; the best thing we can do as we grieve his passing. Hamish gave us something of the utmost importance and we owe it to ourselves and our planet to heal our own vision and act on it.
