Unlawful Killing at G20

...The verdict in the Ian Tomlinson case is in – unlawful killing. Anything else would have been a travesty of justice.

The jury said Pc Simon Harwood used “excessive and unreasonable” force in striking him and “he posed no threat”.

Lily-livered Keir Starmer, the DPP, must now reverse his earlier, disgraceful decision and charge PC Harwood with manslaughter.

Officer Bubbles, Back with a Lawsuit

weavingspider | 26 October 2010

Written by Dan Dicks
The G20 Summit in Toronto will never be forgotten for many Canadians who witnessed the destruction of everything that makes us proud and patriotic. Our rights were violated, our city was terrorized and our police force have demonstrated that absolute power corrupts absolutely as in the case with Officer A. Josephs aka "Officer Bubbles".
On September 11th 2010 Press For Truth videographer Bryan Law questioned Officer Bubbles about his behavior during the G20 summit to which he responded "I did my job, I'm a Police Officer". At the time we felt that releasing a video would only further distract people away from the real issues of the G20 by focusing on the bubbles spectacle...however in light of the fact that Officer Bubbles has recently launched a 1.2 Million dollar lawsuit against YouTube in which 25 people are involved for leaving comments we felt it was time to show the world what Josephs had to say about his job, the infamous bubbles incident and his views on the police state.

G20 Roundup

Written by Dan Dicks
On Saturday July 10th I attended a rally at Queens Park to join the people of Toronto in demanding a public inquiry into the police tactics during the G20 summit weekend. I met a lot of patriotic Canadians who told me their stories of how their rights and civil liberties were violated by the police.
As the weeks move on more and more stories from victims of the police state are coming to light and more videos are beginning to provide evidence that the black block were given a green light to terrorise the city while police stood idly by. I posed this scenario to the panellists on an MTV program titled "Impact" and asked them for their views on the idea of undercover police officers being used as agent provocateurs in order to initiate the violence at an otherwise peaceful protest. One panellist responded quickly with the word "Montebello" which tells me that a lot of people are aware that the Canadian Government was caught red handed doing this before in Montebello Quebec at the SPP summit in 2007.
I produced a film called "The Nation's Deathbed" which details the events that transpired at the SPP summit in Montebello and how the Quebec police had undercover officers dressed as aggressive protesters whose jobs were to be agent provocateurs.
http://www.pressfortruth.ca/news_dtls...

Knowing that the Canadian government was capable of doing this again at the G20 summit in Toronto, I asked Constable George Tucker (who is in charge of the Toronto Police Unit and is working with the Integrated Security Unit which is an amalgamation of RCMP, OPP, Toronto Police Service, Military and CSIS) if he could assure me that the Toronto police would not use agent provocateurs at the G20 summit. Constable Tucker responded to my question by stating that he could not discuss security issues in an open format. http://pressfortruth.ca/news_dtls.php...
Canadians need to continue to remain vocal about what transpired at the G20 summit. I am glad to have met so many fellow patriots who told me their stories and we here at Press For Truth will continue our post G20 coverage for as long as it takes in order for the people of Canada to receive justice where justice is due.

STOP PRESS!

TOMORROW: CROWN PROSECUTION SERVICE REPORT INTO DEATH OF IAN TOMLINSON
THURSDAY 22 JULY, 1PM @ NEW SCOTLAND YARD

TOMORROW: CROWN PROSECUTION SERVICE REPORT INTO DEATH OF IAN TOMLINSON

Tomorrow, Thursday 22 July, on the fifth anniversary of the shooting of Jean Charles de Menezes at Stockwell Tube station, we expect to hear the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) report into the death of Ian Tomlinson, the newspaper seller killed in the City of London as he tried to make his way home past the police during the G20 protests on 1 April 2009.

If a police officer is charged with manslaughter it will be the first time this has ever happened in Britain, despite over 1,000 people dying in police custody since the late 1960s. This should be seen as a step forward for those campaigning for justice.

But if it is a whitewash we don’t want them to get away with it. No matter how much they talk about a new era of policing and enshrining the right to protest, the establishment will once again have allowed police officers to kill an innocent man.

We want as many people to gather as possible to either celebrate a victory or step up our campaign for justice.

Gather at 1pm outside New Scotland Yard, 8-10 Broadway, Westminster, London SW1H 0BG.

This is short notice! Spread this message far and wide: phone, email, text, Tweet, Facebook, chalk on the pavements and bring your friends!

Blair FAIL!

Toronto Police Chief Bill Blair has been caught lying again in an effort to justify the brutal police response metered out against G20 protesters and journalists this past weekend, after it emerged that weapons he presented to the media as evidence of criminals planning to wreak havoc on the city were in fact toys seized from a man who was on his way to a fantasy role-playing game and had nothing to do with the G20 summit.

“Brian Barrett was shocked to go online Tuesday and see a photo gallery showing toy weapons seized from him while en route to Mississauga for a fantasy role-playing game,” reports the Toronto Sun.

Police Chief Blair had presented the hand-made scale armour, cushion-tipped arrows and hockey-taped shields as weapons “seized from criminals” who were planning violence at the G20.

“Some of the things that are related are these arrows with devices tied on to them so that they could pour gas on them, ignite them and shoot them at us,” Blair said. “That was seized from criminals.”

Brian Barrett handles some of fake and harmless homemade weapons. He saw his “toys” displayed prominently at a press conference Tuesday where police claimed the ends were wrapped and ready to be doused with gas. (VERONICA HENRI/Toronto Sun)

Blair was knowingly lying to the media and the public. The toys were seized from Barrett after he was pushed down by cops and forced at gunpoint to consent to a search on his way to attending a role-playing game called Amtgard. The items had all been amended so as to make them safe for children, yet Blair later told the media they represented a deadly cache of weapons set to be used by G20 protesters.

“I woke up yesterday morning and I had players as far as Texas leaving me messages on my voicemail saying, ‘Dude, all of your stuff is on TV, they’re saying it’s all terrorist weapons,’” Barrett said...

Provocateurs n Boots

Cops dressed as anarchists? Leading the violence? Matching boots? Police tactics? Could it be true?....you decide.....
To accompany NUMEROUS eyewitness accounts of 'Black Bloc' anarchists removing their masks then disappearing toward/behind police lines, here is some revealing evidence.
Please help find more footage and spot more things (like the 'black bloc' carrying an RCMP club at 1:17 or the anarchist's suspicious bulge at 5:51)

Provocateur? So-called “anarchist” pictured wearing Nike clothing

Peaceful Protesters Attacked, Arrested While Cop Car Arsonists Left Alone 280610top

An eyebrow-raising photograph of one of the anarchists who set fire to a Toronto police car during anti-G20 protests this past weekend shows him wearing Nike clothing, a potential indication that provocateurs dressed up as black-bloc “anarchists” were again employed by authorities to cause mayhem in order to justify a brutal police crackdown and crush free speech, as peaceful protesters were attacked and arrested while the anarchists who torched the cars were left alone.

The picture shows the two culprits who set fire to the police car congratulating each other and looking remarkably relaxed about potentially being caught by police considering what they had just done. One of the men is wearing Nike pants – the distinctive logo of the company can be seen above his left pocket.

Why would a hardcore anarchists so dedicated to his cause that he is willing to torch a police car be wearing clothing made by a company that anarchists universally abhor, and one that has routinely been targeted by anarchists for well over a decade?

Black Bloc Boots

While security for the event cost in the range of $1 billion, police were nowhere to be found when the Black Bloc began smashing windows and burning police cars, according to several on scene reports.

One blogger noted that “the police car may have been abandoned there by the Toronto Police as a distraction (or as an excuse for agent provacateurs to act violently).”

Terry Burrows of Global Research asserts, “As events unfold, it is becoming increasingly clear that the ‘Black Bloc’ are undercover police operatives engaged in purposeful provocations to eclipse and invalidate legitimate G20 citizen protest by starting a riot.”

One camera caught a Black Bloc member changing his clothes after the riot, revealing a clean-cut man with a military style haircut.

The Globe and Mail published photos of Black Bloc members wreaking havoc. Burrows notes the military style shoes:

Supposed anarchist group, Black Bloc, damaged property at the G20 protest on June 26.

Close up of boot, which Burrows notes is new and military grade:

'The Gordfather'

From the Telegraph artical today

'How Gordon Brown became 'The Gordfather' Read more HERE

In Brown's world, power is more important than performance. Until the "bust", Brown relied upon spending billions and distorting statistics to retain power. In pursuit of a fundamentally flawed economic policy, he trumpeted disingenuous statements about his "golden rule" of balancing the budget to conceal Britain's growing debts and the inevitable recession. Over the past months, that trusted ruse was exposed, confirming Britain's unprecedented financial plight

Urgent Petition Request

...A new Law has passed under section 76 of the so called 'counter terrorism' act that could potentially lead to arrest and imprisonment of anybody who takes a photograph of Policemen / women / officers
please understand that if it wasn't for cameras , Ian Tomlinson's tragedy would never have seen the light of day and would have remained swept under the carpet as in the original police statement where they openly claimend that a "post mortem showed that he died of natural causes"
I am not the only one who shares a theory that the 'counter terrorism act' was put in place to give the police even more immunity
and like they say ..."who polices the police ?"
we are not murderers or rapists , we just happen to have the technology to incriminate any policeman who abuses their power ...and they don't like it !
so please...in the name of free speech (while we still kind of have it) let your voices be heard , and sign the petition
Thank you all in advance
- Doc :)

New Angle, new post mortem - Ian Tomlinson

...Liberal Democrat justice spokesman David Howarth described the footage as 'sickening'. He said: 'This shove is very heavy - it's done with great force. Legally that counts as an assault.'

Brian Paddick, former deputy assistant commissioner at the Met, said the officer could potentially face a charge of manslaughter.

Labour MP David Winnick called for Home Secretary Jacqui Smith to make a full statement to the House of Commons after Easter. He said questions would be asked about 'misleading' police statements after Mr Tomlinson's death...

G20 Protest: The Attack and Death of Ian Tomlinson

...Mr Tomlinson is seen with his hands in his pockets and his back to a group of officers, when one of them appears to aggressively barge him to the pavement.
He got up, but died around 10 minutes later of a heart attack in a nearby street.

The police officer that attacked Mr Tomlinson is not wearing eppelettes and has something pulled up covering his face. All the other police there had eppelettes on with their shoulder numbers clearly showing.

There's two possibilities - either this was a real police officer who pre-meditated this attack and therefore covered his face and removed his eppelettes or this man is an agent provocateur.

It's strange how he runs away too.

There's something not right about this...

Forget the G20 mob, coping-class fury is about to reach boiling point

Decent folk have been roasted on a spit by a tribe of political pygmies – and they're really bloody angry, says Jeff Randall.

Many are dismayed at the way their local communities have been changed – irreversibly – beyond recognition. Does the Government listen? Not at all. It tramples over dissent, bullying through an unpopular policy with ludicrous propaganda.

Why did the police punish bystanders?

Rob was a predictably tedious anarchist, with tediously predictable views. Standing beneath a hanged effigy of Sir Fred Goodwin, he explained how the police work. “They aren’t here for us, they’re here for the bankers,” he told me. “But mainly, they are here for a fight.”

Having just watched protesters smash up the Royal Bank of Scotland, I was not in the mood. Not only was Rob wrong, I told him, he was the worst kind of wrong — a clichéd wrong. Seven hours later — seven hours of detention without food or water — I had come to believe that I was the one who had been naive.

G20 protests: The view from the street

Thu Apr 02 09:41AM
It's a strange thing to be told by police that you can't leave an area.

'But I need the loo', you think. 'And something to eat.' And you do feel, rather vaguely, that your human rights are being mildly violated.

I spoke to a man named Andy. Andy is over 50, an IT worker, and, in his words, "can't find work for love nor money". He came to complain about how, in his view, Gordon Brown and Alistair Darling had mismanaged the economy. With a beaming smile on his face and a placard with a cheeky joke about Britain's economic police, I warmed to him instantly. As we spoke, I noticed a policeman filing him with a video camera.
Did this man deserve to be filmed by police as if he was a terrorist, and then kept in an area for hours on end, without access to toilet facilities or food or water, simply because he wanted to protest against British economic policy? Surely not.

Financial Fools Day

...At least 32 people were arrested in connection with the protests.

Outside the Bank of England, an effigy of a banker hung from the traffic lights was set on fire, releasing fumes of pungent black smoke.

Later, police slowly began to let people out of the cordon but there were no longer confrontations with demonstrators.

One activist was heard saying to another: "I'll see you tomorrow."

Anger at bankers' role in the global economic downturn and frustration at slow progress in tackling climate change prompted thousands to take to the streets.

Four protest marches converged on the Bank of England after setting off along separate routes as helicopters circled overhead.

City workers leaned out of windows and waved £10 notes at demonstrators on the streets below, who responded with jeers and shouts...

...looks like a jolly good time was had by all, NOW to the SERIOUS stuff, what's going to happen today?..
