Vaccines found to activate moron genes that cause further belief in vaccines

New research accidentally conducted by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation has discovered that vaccines activate the "moron" genes that normally lie dormant in human beings. Once activated, these "moron genes" cause individuals to lose higher brain function and the ability to question false information fed to them by doctors, drug companies and the media. This, in turn, results in even more people pursuing repeated vaccines, further causing expression of the moron genes, over and over again, until their brain function collapses to the level of a raw vegetable... otherwise known as a "voter."

Because of their disastrous effects on higher brain function, these vaccines are now being called "Moron Vaccines."

Moron Vaccines contain all the usual ingredients of flu vaccines and MMR vaccines, including methyl mercury, aluminum, formaldehyde and DNA fragments from diseased monkey organs. (This is truly what's found in other vaccines...)

But Moron Vaccines have one ingredient that's slightly different. As Dr. All Proffit, a leading vaccine patent holder, explained, "Moron Vaccines are much like regular vaccines, except instead of taking diseased material from infected cows and monkeys, we take brain cell samples from existing morons which are easy to find among our colleagues. We then weaken those brain cells to make them even more moronic, and then we inject them into infants and children, mixed with a bit of mercury to make sure it targets the neurological system for maximum effectiveness."

The result? As Bill Gates explains, "Billions of children each year are being saved from IBFD." IBFD is short for "Intelligent Brain Function Disorder. It is an affliction affecting hundreds of millions of people each year, causing them to achieve dangerously high levels of cognitive function that causes them to ask inappropriate questions about vaccines such as, "Why have vaccines never been tested against non-vaccinated children?" Or, "Why do vaccines cause some children and teens to collapse into autism, comas or death?" Or, "Why don't flu vaccines actually prevent flu symptoms in 99 out of 100 people who receive them?"

"This Is a Magic Moment": Will Wisconsin Change America?

The call reportedly arrived from Cairo. Pizza for the protesters, the voice said. It was Saturday, February 20th, and by then Ian's Pizza on State Street in Madison, Wisconsin, was overwhelmed. One employee had been assigned the sole task of answering the phone and taking down orders. And in they came, from all 50 states and the District of Columbia, from Morocco, Haiti, Turkey, Belgium, Uganda, China, New Zealand, and even a research station in Antarctica. More than 50 countries around the globe. Ian's couldn't make pizza fast enough, and the generosity of distant strangers with credit cards was paying for it all.

Those pizzas, of course, were heading for the Wisconsin state capitol, an elegant domed structure at the heart of this Midwestern college town. For nearly two weeks, tens of thousands of raucous, sleepless, grizzled, energized protesters have called the stately capitol building their home. Until the police cleared it out on Sunday afternoon, it was the pulsing heart of the largest labor protest in my lifetime, the focal point of rallies and concerts against a politically-charged piece of legislation proposed by Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker, a hard-right Republican. That bill, officially known as the Special Session Senate Bill 11, would, among other things, eliminate collective bargaining rights for most of the state's public-sector unions, in effect eviscerating the unions themselves.

"Kill the bill!" the protesters chant en masse, day after day, while the drums pound and cowbells clang. "What's disgusting? Union busting!"

One World, One Pain

The spark for Wisconsin's protests came on February 11th. That was the day the Associated Press published a brief story quoting Walker as saying he would call in the National Guard to crack down on unruly workers upset that their bargaining rights were being stripped away. Labor and other left-leaning groups seized on Walker's incendiary threat, and within a week there were close to 70,000 protesters filling the streets of Madison.

Six thousand miles away, February 11th was an even more momentous day. Weary but jubilant protesters on the streets of Cairo, Alexandria, and other Egyptian cities celebrated the toppling of Hosni Mubarak, the autocrat who had ruled over them for more than 30 years and amassed billions in wealth at their expense. "We have brought down the regime," cheered the protesters in Cairo's Tahrir Square, the center of the Egyptian uprising. In calendar terms, the demonstrations in Wisconsin, you could say, picked up right where the Egyptians left off.

Corporate-Funded Online 'Astroturfing' Is More Advanced and More Automated Than You Might Think

Every month more evidence piles up, suggesting that online comment threads and forums are being hijacked by people who aren’t what they seem to be. The anonymity of the web gives companies and governments golden opportunities to run astroturf operations: fake grassroots campaigns, which create the impression that large numbers of people are demanding or opposing particular policies. This deception is most likely to occur where the interests of companies or governments come into conflict with the interests of the public. For example, there’s a long history of tobacco companies creating astroturf groups to fight attempts to regulate them.

After I last wrote about online astroturfing, in December, I was contacted by a whistleblower. He was part of a commercial team employed to infest internet forums and comment threads on behalf of corporate clients, promoting their causes and arguing with anyone who opposed them. Like the other members of the team, he posed as a disinterested member of the public. Or, to be more accurate, as a crowd of disinterested members of the public: he used 70 personas, both to avoid detection and to create the impression that there was widespread support for his pro-corporate arguments. I’ll reveal more about what he told me when I’ve finished the investigation I’m working on.

But it now seems that these operations are more widespread, more sophisticated and more automated than most of us had guessed. Emails obtained by political hackers from a US cyber-security firm called HB Gary Federal suggest that a remarkable technological armoury is being deployed to drown out the voices of real people.

As the Daily Kos has reported, the emails show that:

- companies now use “persona management software”, which multiplies the efforts of the astroturfers working for them, creating the impression that there’s major support for what a corporation or government is trying to do.

- this software creates all the online furniture a real person would possess: a name, email accounts, web pages and social media. In other words, it automatically generates what look like authentic profiles, making it hard to tell the difference between a virtual robot and a real commentator.

- fake accounts can be kept updated by automatically re-posting or linking to content generated elsewhere, reinforcing the impression that the account holders are real and active.

- human astroturfers can then be assigned these “pre-aged” accounts to create a back story, suggesting that they’ve been busy linking and re-tweeting for months. No one would suspect that they came onto the scene for the first time a moment ago, for the sole purpose of attacking an article on climate science or arguing against new controls on salt in junk food.

Blair Calls Gaddafi, Shooting Begins

Tony Blair, widely criticised in recent days for offering Muammar Gaddafi "the hand of friendship" seven years ago, made an extraordinary personal intervention when he twice phoned the embattled Libyan dictator on Friday, just before the shooting began, and again afterwards.

Britain's former prime minister made two unannounced calls to Colonel Gaddafi on Friday – the day the Libyan President appeared in public and exhorted a crowd of his hardcore supporters to "defend the nation" against the uprising and "crush the enemy" behind it. That defiant call to arms suggests that Col Gaddafi – who has rapidly returned to the international pariah status he had before the "deal in the desert" he negotiated with Mr Blair in 2004 – is still controlled by the Wanted War Criminal who pioneered the dictator's temporary rehabilitation by the West.

Reports from the Libyan capital yesterday suggested that the dictator was carrying out his threat to arm supporters to strike back against the uprising. As tensions rose, David Cameron ordered an SAS rescue mission to pick up 150 citizens stranded in the remote oil fields south of the port of Benghazi.

Protests held at 40 UK bank branches

Activists staged protests at more than 40 bank branches across the country yesterday in protest at executive bonuses and cuts in public services.

UK Uncut said demonstrators set up creches, laundries, school classrooms, libraries, homeless shelters, drama clubs, walk-in clinics, youth centres, job centres and leisure centres at branches of RBS, NatWest and Lloyds across the country.

At midday in Islington, north London, 50 activists set up a laundry in an RBS branch in reaction to alleged council moves to cut services to the elderly, including a much-needed laundry service.

They set up washing lines, clothes horses, buckets for handwashing and a team of window cleaners on the outside. The protest was attended by over 15 pensioners and local Labour MP Jeremy Corbyn.

Banks were transformed into "hospitals" in Liverpool and Redhill, a classroom in Cardiff, a leisure centre in Eastleigh, a job centre in Birmingham. Twenty people took tents and sleeping bags into NatWest in Brixton to create a homeless shelter.

Aisha Atkins, 32, said: "There are alternatives to the cuts, for example, making the banks pay for a crisis they created or by stopping tax-dodging by big business and the super rich.

"But the Government is making a political choice to reduce the deficit by making ordinary people pay with job losses and savaged services.

"We are transforming the banks into schools, leisure centres, laundry services and homeless shelters to show that it's our society that's too big to fail, not a broken banking system."

An RBS spokeswoman said: "We fully respect the right to peaceful protest. Minimising disruption to our customers is our priority."

Mr Cameron, It’s You Who Needs Education About Cannabis! by Peter Reynolds

Al Jazeera: This was incidentally, the second most popular question because viewers would submit questions and then members of the public would vote.

Why is marijuana illegal when alcohol and tobacco are more addictive and dangerous to our health, but we manage to control them? Wouldn’t education about drugs from a younger age be better?

Cameron: Well there’s one bit of that question I agree with which I think education about drugs is vital and we should make sure that education programmes are there in our schools and we should make sure that they work. But I don’t really accept the rest of the question. I think if you actually look at the sort of marijuana that is on sale today, it is actually incredibly damaging, very, very toxic and leads to, in many cases, huge mental health problems. But I think the more fundamental reason for not making these drugs legal is that to make them legal would make them even more prevalent and would increase use levels even more than they are now. So I don’t think it is the right answer. I think a combination of education, also treatment programmes for drug addicts, I think those are the two most important planks of a proper anti-drug policy.

Al Jazeera: What about the argument that it could be used as medicinal properties? That was another question we actually had, a person saying it’s got proven medicinal properties. If used properly and regulated properly it could actually be quite helpful.

Cameron: That is a matter for the science and medical authorities to determine and they are free to make independent determinations about that. But the question here about whether illegal drugs should be made legal, my answer is no.

Dear Mr Cameron,

I am writing about your answer to the question about marijuana during the recent Al Jazeera World View YouTube interview.

I am the recently elected leader of the LCA. I represent the interests of at least two million regular users of cannabis and perhaps as many as 10 million occasional users in Britain. This is a huge proportion of the population and on their behalf I am requesting a meeting with you.

We were dismayed, shocked even, at your answer to the question. With respect, clearly it is you who are in great need of education about cannabis. The information you gave was inaccurate and false. While we must all respect different opinions, your answer was factually wrong and you must correct it.

Cannabis is not “incredibly damaging”, nor “very, very toxic”. It is a myth that there is anything significantly different about the cannabis on sale today and the idea that it causes “in many cases, huge mental health problems” has been comprehensively disproved many times over by scientists all over the world.

I can provide you with scientific information which proves that these ideas are false. Recently we have been pursuing various newspapers through the Press Complaints Commission for publishing the same inaccuracies. I am seriously alarmed when I see the prime minster of my country distributing such untruths.

Two key facts:

The Therapeutic Ratio of cannabis (ED50:LD50) is 1:40000 (Alcohol = 1:10, Paracetamol = 1:30). Even potatoes are more toxic than cannabis.

Professor Glyn Lewis of the University of Bristol reviewed all published research on cannabis and psychosis in 2009 and concluded that 96% of people have no risk whatsoever and in the remaining 4% the risk is “statistically tiny”.

Your suggestion that legalising drugs increases use is also not supported by the evidence. In both Holland and Portugal where cannabis use is not prosecuted, consumption is much lower than in Britain.

Finally, on medicinal use it is simply not true that the scientific and medical authorities are free to make independent determinations. The Home Office stamps on any medicinal cannabis use even when prescribed by a doctor. People from other European countries can bring medicinal cannabis to Britain and use it legally under the Schengen agreement but you can’t if you’re British. Here, sick and disabled people are being prosecuted every day for use of a medicine which is scientifically and medically proven. Surely you cannot be unaware of this? It is a cruel and evil policy which shames our nation.

So please, Mr Cameron, will you meet with me in order that I may show you the evidence and the facts about cannabis? Remember, this was the second most popular question you were asked on Friday and I represent the interests of millions of British citizens. Please make time for me in your diary.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Yours sincerely,

Peter Reynolds

Meet The Sprayer By Nuff Said

Here is a sneak preview of my article in progress for issue 2 of ISMOKE Magazine:

We have all been here , picture this: You need a smoke, so you call your dealer but he’s running dry. So you ask around and find somebody you don’t usually pick up off of. You get your weed, get back to your house and look at what you’ve got – a tiny eighth that doesn’t smell that pleasant and is rock-f’ing-solid. Eurgh, welcome to the world of sprayed cannabis.
So I thought that I would find out how, where and why cannabis is sprayed; what it is sprayed with and how this effects me and other consumers across the country. After all, somebody’s got to be smoking it all – it’s not just going up in smoke all by itself!

Can't Pay, Won't Pay!

They blockade highway toll booths to give drivers free passage. They cover subway ticket machines with plastic bags so commuters can't pay. Even doctors are joining in, preventing patients from paying fees at state hospitals.

Some call it civil disobedience. Others a freeloading spirit. Either way, Greece's "I Won't Pay" movement has sparked heated debate in a nation reeling from a debt crisis that's forced the government to take drastic austerity measures — including higher taxes, wage and pension cuts, and price spikes in public services.

What started as a small pressure group of residents outside Athens angered by higher highway tolls has grown into a movement affecting ever more sectors of society — one that many say is being hijacked by left-wing parties keen to ride popular discontent.

A rash of political scandals in recent years, including a dubious land swap deal with a rich monastery and alleged bribes in state contracts — has fueled the rebellious mood.

At dawn last Friday, about 100 bleary-eyed activists from a Communist Party-backed labor union covered ticket machines with plastic bags at Athens metro stations, preventing passengers from paying their fares, to protest public transport ticket price hikes.

Other activists have taped up ticket machines on buses and trams. And thousands of people simply don't bother validating their public transport tickets when they take the subway or the bus.

"The people have paid already through their taxes, so they should be able to travel for free," said Konstantinos Thimianos, 36, an activist standing at the metro picket line in central Syntagma Square.

In one of their frequent occupations of the toll booths on the northern outskirts of Athens recently, protesters wore brightly colored vests with "total disobedience" emblazoned across their backs, and chanted: "We won't pay for their crisis!"

The tactic has cropped up in the health sector, with some state hospital doctors staging a blockade in front of pay counters to prevent patients from paying their €5 flat fee for consultations.

From Reefer Madness onward, movies and TV have historically been pretty terrible at representing real-life drug use. (Harold And Kumar perhaps comes closest to reality.) This week, we explore hilarious onscreen drug freakouts, from the funny and accurate (Freaks And Geeks) to the ridiculously over-the-top (the inimitable Death Drug and Desperate Lives). If you want to read the full Inventory, which includes lots more entries, you'll have to buy our book, conveniently titled Inventory.

Revealed: Air Force ordered software to manage army of fake virtual people

These days, with Facebook and Twitter and social media galore, it can be increasingly hard to tell who your "friends" are.

But after this, Internet users would be well advised to ask another question entirely: Are my "friends" even real people?

In the continuing saga of data security firm HBGary, a new caveat has come to light: not only did they plot to help destroy secrets outlet WikiLeaks and discredit progressive bloggers, they also crafted detailed proposals for software that manages online "personas," allowing a single human to assume the identities of as many fake people as they'd like.

The revelation was among those contained in the company's emails, which were dumped onto bittorrent networks after hackers with cyber protest group "Anonymous" broke into their systems.

In another document unearthed by "Anonymous," one of HBGary's employees also mentioned gaming geolocation services to make it appear as though selected fake persons were at actual events.

"There are a variety of social media tricks we can use to add a level of realness to all fictitious personas," it said.

Government involvement

Eerie as that may be, more perplexing, however, is a federal contract from the 6th Contracting Squadron at MacDill Air Force Base, located south of Tampa, Florida, that solicits providers of "persona management software."

While there are certainly legitimate applications for such software, such as managing multiple "official" social media accounts from a single input, the more nefarious potential is clear.

Unfortunately, the Air Force's contract description doesn't help dispel suspicions. As the text explains, the software would require licenses for 50 users with 10 personas each, for a total of 500. These personas would have to be "replete with background , history, supporting details, and cyber presences that are technically, culturally and geographacilly consistent."

It continues, noting the need for secure virtual private networks that randomize the operator's Internet protocol (IP) address, making it impossible to detect that it's a single person orchestrating all these posts. Another entry calls for static IP address management for each persona, making it appear as though each fake person was consistently accessing from the same computer each time.

The contract also sought methods to anonymously establish virtual private servers with private hosting firms in specific geographic locations. This would allow that server's "geosite" to be integrated with their social media profiles, effectively gaming geolocation services.

The Air Force added that the "place of performance" for the contract would be at MacDill Air Force Base, along with Kabul, Afghanistan and Baghdad. The contract was offered on June 22, 2010.

It was not clear exactly what the Air Force was doing with this software, or even if it had been procured.

Manufacturing consent

Though many questions remain about how the military would apply such technology, the reasonable fear should be perfectly clear. "Persona management software" can be used to manipulate public opinion on key information, such as news reports. An unlimited number of virtual "people" could be marshaled by only a few real individuals, empowering them to create the illusion of consensus.

You could call it a virtual flash mob, or a digital "Brooks Brothers Riot," so to speak: compelling, but not nearly as spontaneous as it appears.

Crown Directors linked to 'Gold 4 Cash' Scam - 6 More Arrests

Creditors attend the Crown Holdings meetingProbe: Creditors attend the Crown Holdings meeting following the collapse of the firm.

Devon and Cornwall Police today arrested three men and three women and searched five properties in relation to the ongoing investigation into the collapse of the Crown Currency Exchange and Crown Holdings Ltd.

The arrests were for money laundering and fraud offences at addresses in Cornwall and Hertfordshire.

It follows the arrests of two men in December, Crown Currency directors Peter Benstead and Edward James.

Police have now also linked the collapse of a ‘cash for gold’ company called Mayfair and Grant to the Crown Currency criminal investigation. Benstead was also a director of Mayfair and Grant, which has now been liquidated.

Detective Inspector Paul Bean, head of the Economic Crime Unit at Devon and Cornwall Police said: ‘This is a lengthy and complicated investigation in which there are many lines of enquiry to pursue. It is anticipated that there are over 8000 victims of crime in relation to the collapse of these companies.

‘Police are liaising with the Administrators for Crown Currency and Liquidators for Mayfair and Grant.’

More than 13,000 people were left without their travel cash when Crown Currency called in administrators in October.

Around £20m was due to customers but Crown, based in Hayle, Cornwall, had only £3m to £4m of assets. Administrators MCR said more than 8,000 victims of the company have so far lodged claims - including some who have lost between £100,000 and £400,000 each.

Crown Currency allowed customers to pre-order foreign currency at a fixed price up to a year in advance.

It was set up in 2004 by husband and wife team Peter and Susan Benstead of Rosehill, Penzance. Crown Currency was owned by Mr Benstead, 68, and Mr James, 70, a Tory councillor and former mayor in Glastonbury.

It emerged after the firm went bust that it was not regulated and therefore not covered by Financial Services Authority (FSA) compensation schemes - meaning customers cannot recover their cash through the FSA.

It is thought customers may only receive a fraction of cash lost as administrators have also not been able to raise cash by selling the firm as a going concern.

Anyone who believes they may be are a victim in the collapse of Crown Currency has been invited to register with the Administrators - MCR 43-45 Portman Square, London, W1H 6LY. Telephone 0207 4877240.

...UPDATE, Benstead Scam Clan Go Down...

PETER-BENSTEAD.jpg

The boss of collapsed Crown Currency Exchange has been re-arrested for fraud and money laundering offences.

Peter Benstead (above), 68, from Rosehill, Penzance, Cornwall, was arrested this morning after police linked ‘cash-for-gold’ company Mayfair and Grant to their investigation into the £20m collapse of Benstead’s currency exchange business.

Benstead’s daughters Victoria and Odile have also been arrested, along with Odile’s husband Roderick Schmidt (below). In all, three men and three women were arrested today and five properties searched in Cornwall and Hertfordshire.

Peter Benstead was previously arrested in December, along with fellow director Edward James, 70, from Glastonbury, Somerset.

Democracy in Shropshire

The message in Shrewsbury this morning to a crowd of some 1500 demonstrators against local government cuts was very clear and seen by all, as well as by many in the town as we marched through. What was impressive is that many already knew about this scandalous affair including some actually working inside the Council building itself who expressed total disgust. We were knocking on an open door! Personally named in the publicity liberally handed to the crowd and in many cases actively solicited were Councillor Aggie Caesar-Homden, Children's Services officer and Councillor for Ruyton 11 New Towns (where Anne and Hollie lived happily and peacefully before their house was trashed last summer at C-H's behest); Tim Collard, Head of Legal Services who lied that the Council had no foreknowledge of the raid; Stephen Chandler, Deputy Manager of Social Services with special responsibility for the Disabled, sidestepped from Worcestershire to Shropshire after mishandling another very murky scandal involving a disabled young man whose remains were discovered chopped up in a suitcase (see previous article on this site) and finally, head of the whole sordid cabal, CEO Kim Ryley who must take ultimate responsiblilty for bringing shame on the name of Shropshire. The figures say it all: £46 million to be axed from Shropshire's budget; CEO on a salary of £180,000 (not cut) and anything up to £1/2 million already spent on a witchhunt against two innocent local ladies who have harmed no one in Shropshire nor anywhere else for that matter, with possibly more cash sorely needed for local children, carers and hospitals still to be tipped down a particular drain called Defence of Paedophiles. Otherwise Shrewsbury is a really pretty town with friendly, normal people as you find everywhere in UK. Special thanks to organiser Jane for allowing us to append Hollie's cause to Unison's Rally but we felt it was a very easy alliance and congratulations that such a substantial crowd turned out, all in all a good day for Democracy in Shropshire.

Libya Conquered in the Dark

Corporate propagandist John Leyne of
the globalist Chatham House's BBC
BBC's Breathtaking Propagandizing

Tony Cartalucci, Contributing Writer
Activist Post

Shut down the Middle East, you shut down China and Russia, then you rule the world. The current Middle East destabilization is a desperate gambit to eliminate the Near-East buffer, isolate the two rising superpowers, and force them to concede to their place within a unipolar New York-London centric world order.

Libya is next in a long line of nations in the Middle East being destabilized and facing a Western-backed regime change. With the corporate owned mainstream media performing breathtaking acts of propagandizing, the US State Department's army of bloggers coordinating Libya's uprising on the ground, and nearly zero confirmed reports coming out, it seems the large North African nation is being dismembered entirely in the dark.

Unlike in Egypt, where US International Crisis Group trustee Mohamed ElBaradei was talking daily to international reporters on the ground, and AlJazeera provided 24 hour coverage, Libya is a virtual blackhole. The mainstream media is relaying hearsay from "Libyan" bloggers and protesters on the ground. The tell-tale quotation marks peppering reports coming out of BBC and AlJazeera and a litany of weasel words indicate that the "revolution" will be feed to the public in the most disingenuous and unsubstantiated manner possible.

Unfortunately, when all we have to depend on during a crisis is the honor of the corporate owned media, where BBC itself is a major corporate member of the globalist nexus Chatham House, nothing can be trusted and we are left in confusion and uncertainty. Far too many people, however, will still fall for the thin veneer of legitimacy the mainstream media's slick graphics and well-dressed shills lend it.

Kill Switch Beta: Government Blocks 84,000 Websites From You but Not DoD Child Porn

The DoD, Pentagon, US intelligence and government contractors are allowed to download and watch child porn on classified government computers that you pay for - so, not as I do, but as I say! See story following this first post here...

Kurt Nimmo | Prison Planet

Under the banner of fighting child pornography, the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Justice knocked out 84,000 websites last week. The websites did not host or link to child pornography as the government claims.

“As part of ‘Operation Save Our Children‘ ICE’s Cyber Crimes Center has again seized several domain names, but not without making a huge error. Last Friday, thousands of site owners were surprised by a rather worrying banner that was placed on their domain,” reports TorrentFreak, a tech site.

“Advertisement, distribution, transportation, receipt, and possession of child pornography constitute federal crimes that carry penalties for first time offenders of up to 30 years in federal prison, a $250,000 fine, forfeiture and restitution,” was the message visitors to the sites were greeted with after a judge signed a seizure warrant and Big Sis contacted the domain registries and instructed them to point the domains in question to a server that hosts the above warning message.

“However, somewhere in this process a mistake was made and as a result the domain of a large DNS service provider was seized,” writes Ernesto for TorrentFreak.

It is certainly possible although not probable the takedown was an error. It is more likely the sites were taken offline in calculated fashion in order to send a message – government has the ability to deny a large number of websites access to the internet.

Libya: The bloodiest uprising the Maghreb has ever seen

As the world's media is blocked from entering Libya to report fully on the bloody uprising, the people of Libya are risking all to get the truth out to the world outside.

Philip Brennan | PhilipBrennan.net | 20 February 2011:

A statement from "Cyrenaican" on the running battles to liberate Benghazi from the Revolutionary Forces of Gaddafi:

"...Today, footage was released of the foreign mercenaries sent into Libya to murder Libyan civilians. Anti-aircraft weaponry and sniper rifles are the weapons that have been used against the people of Benghazi today's reports say 200 dead minimum. Today's massacres have been the worst to date of the Arab uprisings. It is now a war of Libyan civilians in the east against foreign killers..."

"...Talking to a beloved friend and relative of mine hiding in Benghazi. He's on the verge of tears, it is painful to hear. He is telling me that in the battle of the Kateebatil Fadheel, 200-300 were killed, foreign mercenaries among internal police shooting at them. He hasn't had a sip of water in 2 days, him and the group of shabaab he is with haven't been able to go home, many of his friends have killed. In Benghazi, the youth are using 3 things:

1. Rocks
2. Molotovs Cocktails
3. Joulateena (small grenades used to catch fish in the sea).

They are using these against trained mercenaries from other countries, with submachine guns and anti-aircraft guns. Groups of gangs in cars amng them foreign Africans, been driving around, trying 2 run over & shoot & kill Libyans on streets in Benghazi. The shabaab [youth] of Benghazi are the heroes of Libya..."

Despite all the horror and pain we will see over the coming months and years, it is still an exciting time to be alive. If we can keep certain interests from hijacking the very real movements for change world wide, we have a chance to build a more equitable world out of the falling dictatorships and empires. But if we fail to do this through fear and inaction, then the New World Order will win and God only knows what that will mean for all of us. This web site serves as a testimony to the dark forces at work throughout the governments of the world. It is up to us, We the People, to defeat them

the Next Net by Douglas Rushkoff

The Answer to the Internet Off Switch

From the actions of the Egyptian government to the policies of Facebook, the monopolies of central banks to the corporatization of the Internet, we are witnessing the potential of a peer-to-peer networking become overshadowed by the hierarchies of the status quo. It's time for us to gather and see what is still possible on the net, and what, if anything, can be built to replace it.

I have had a vague misgiving about the direction the net's been going for, well, maybe 15 years. But until recently, it was more like the feeling when another Starbucks opens on the block, a Wal-Mart moves into town, or a bank forecloses unnecessarily on that cool local bookstore to make room for another bank.

Lately, however, what's wrong with the net has become quite crystalized for me. It started with the corporate-government banishment of Wikileaks last year, and reached a peak with Egypt shutting off its networks to stave off revolution. The Obama administration seeking the ability to do pretty much the same thing in the US, Facebook's "sponsored stories," and the pending loss of net neutrality don't help, either.

On the website Shareable, and again in an OpEd for CNN.com, I suggested we "fork" the Internet -- that we accept the fact that the net is built on a fundamentally hierarchical architecture, surrender it to the corporations who run it, and consider building something else for ourselves. The Internet as built will always be subject to top-down government control and domination by the biggest corporations. They administrate the indexes and own the conduit. It has choke points -- technological, legal, and commercial. They can turn it off and shut us out. A p2p network protected only by laws -- that exists but for the grace of those in charge -- is not a p2p network. It is a hierarchical network allowing itself to be used in a p2p fashion, when convenient to those currently in charge.

If we have a dream of how social media could restore peer-to-peer commerce, culture, and government, and if the current Internet is too tightly controlled to allow for it, why not build the kind of network and mechanisms to realize it?

I received literally thousands of emails in response. Some people simply wanted to know if it was really true -- could a government really just "turn off" the net? Yes. It's true. Others wrote to let me know there's no alternative; there's no such thing as an unstoppable network. Even if we use ham radio or wifi "mesh" networks to connect to each other, they can always be jammed by governments. True, but by that logic the authorities also can prevent us from speaking to one another by shooting us. At least the tyrant would be in the position of attacking the people's network, instead of simply turning off the network he already controls.

Finally, though, the vast majority of emails came from people who wanted to get started actually building a new net, developing p2p currency, or figuring out how to promote deep democracy through social media. What should they do? Where should they go? And those kinds of questions can't be answered in an email, an essay or a column. It's not something you click on. These challenges can only be answered over time by people actively collaborating on solutions.

Barclays Pays £113 Million Tax, £2800 Million Bonuses

Seeker After Truth

Congratulations to Labour MP Chuka Umunna, who has exposed the truth about the organised crime syndicate known as Barclays Bank. See here for the full story.

Far from contributing to the British economy, in 2009 the bosses of this criminal gang paid themselves nearly 25 times as much as they paid in tax on their ill gotten gains.

Barclays Boss = Liar & Cheat

Nothing better illustrates the deception, fraud and misrepresentation that this den of thieves has perpertrated on the British people. It also highlights the weakness and compromise of Dr Vince Cable, once held up as the champion of the people, now revealed as weak, ineffectual and useless in the face of Barclays’ corrupting influence. As for Cameron, his poodle and all the other cowardly members of our once honourable House of Commons, they are all two-faced, impotent and in shameful, sycophantic awe of the vast piles of shekels that the banker robbers accumulate.

Wikileaks - a Trilogy

by Staff Report

Rep. Peter King (left) introduces anti-WikiLeaks legislation ... The bill, known as the SHIELD Act, would amend the Espionage Act to make publishing classified information "concerning the identity of a classified source or informant of an element of the intelligence community" an act of espionage. Sens. John Ensign (R-NV), Joe Lieberman (I-CT) and Scott Brown (R-MA) introduced similar legislation in the Senate last week. "These organizations are a clear and present danger to the national security of the United States," Rep. King continued. "Julian Assange and his compatriots are enemies of the US and should be prosecuted under the Espionage Act. This legislation provides the Attorney General with additional authority to do just that." – Raw Story

Dominant Social Theme: The threat of WikiLeaks refocuses Peter King's pathologies.

Free-Market Analysis: WikiLeaks continues to be the gift that keeps on giving. We've analyzed WikiLeaks from the point of view of a power elite gambit and the pieces of the puzzle continue to fit together. Not only that, but the WikiLeaks sub dominant social theme was assembled relatively rapidly in our view with Julian Assange taking over WikiLeaks only about four years ago. That's a blink of an eye in terms of elite promotions, which can run 50 or even 100 years (see central banking). Here are links to three Assange-like stories, a trilogy if you will:

Comes a Blond Stranger...

Goes the Dark Leader? ...

CODA: Sayeth the Chosen One ...

WikiLeaks seems to talk a better leak than it offers. One thing it HAS been good at – as we would expect if it were ultimately an Anglosphere psyops – is generating pushback from Anglosphere political elites, especially in America (see excerpt above). There is of course no "security" measure that is too Draconian for someone like Peter King, chairman of the Committee on Homeland Security, who has backed virtually every legislative disassembling of American civil rights for the past decade. WikiLeaks, conveniently, has given him a renewed opportunity to further polarize the US security debate and whittle away further freedoms. Here's more from Raw Story regarding King's latest jeremiad:

... King sent a letter to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Attorney General Eric Holder ... demanding that WikiLeaks be deemed a "foreign terrorist organization" and it's founder declared a terror ringleader ... "Julian Assange and his associates who have operated and supported WikiLeaks not only damaged US national security with their releases of classified documents, but also placed at risk countless lives, including those of our Nation's intelligence sources around the world."

Conclusion: Assange has however hardened the "terrorism" debate in the West and the United States, making it easier for the Peter Kings and Michele Bachmanns of the world to further restrict citizens' civil rights while expanding the grasp of Leviathan. If that is the point of WikiLeaks, Assange is seemingly succeeding. And perhaps it is.

Save The Holy Headland - the Aarhus Connection

Open Letter To: Rt.Hon.Norman Baker MP, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State (Regional and Local Transport),

Rt.Hon Eric Pickles MP, Secretary of State, Communities and Local Government,

Rt.Hon.Andrew George MP,

C.C. Richard Williams, Head of Legal Services, Cornwall Council

Dear Members of the House,

Re: The Aarhus Convention & Penzance Harbour

Being under the impression that the local authorities of Great Britain are currently required to work within the terms of the above convention when putting forth plans and proposals for new developments in their areas, I contacted Cornwall Council to find out in what manner they had embraced the Aarhus Convention and applied it to their procedure in respect of the proposed works to Penzance South Pier and the building over of the adjacent beach. The reply which I received from them indicates that the plans for Penzance have been drawn up in complete disregard for the terms of the Convention. Here is a copy of the correspondence:

"Reference Number: IAR-003899

Response provided under: Freedom of Information Act 2000

Request and Response:

May I please be informed of:

1) All details regarding the council's strategy for adopting and implementing the

legal requirements of the Aarhus Convention (Hereinafter known as 'the Convention').

Namely, copies of documents setting out this strategy and their dates of publication.

2) The names of officials who have received appropriate training in your convention

implementation strategy.

3) The dates (beginning and end) on which this training was given.

4) The minutes of the meeting at which the terms of the Convention were first

explained to the council officials.
Yours sincerely, Jeremy Schanche

Access to information – Freedom of Information policy

Public participation – the Community Engagement Strategy outlines the

improvements we making in public participation. The strategy is available on the

drafting a public consultation and community engagement policy that will be rolled out

across the Council.

In relation to questions 2 and 3, we have no records here in Highways relating

to any of our staff receiving Aarhus Convention training.

In respect of questions 1 and 4, there are also no records, documents or

minutes of meetings in respect of the Convention and its adoption in Highways.

Information provided by: Chief Executive’s Department, Environment, Planning &

Economy."

In view of the above, I believe that Cornwall Council have acted unlawfully, and that if they were to pursue their current proposals regarding Penzance Harbour, they will inevitably become enmired in a costly and ultimately unproductive lawsuit. I would ask you all to consider this information when weighing up any decisions regarding the funding and propagation of this project.

Yours sincerely, Jeremy Schanche

'Anonymous' Hacker Group Teaches Shady Cyber-Security Companies a Lesson They'll Never Forget

An apparent coalition of hackers is hitting targets with surprising speed and accuracy -- and it looks like it's just the beginning.

Shortly after the overreaching CEO of Sacramento's so-called cybersecurity outfit, HBGary Federal, assembled an online attack plan against pro-Wikileaks supporters like Salon journalist Glenn Greenwald and prematurely bragged about "pwning" the upstart hacker collective Anonymous privately to his employees and publicly to the Financial Times, Anonymous quickly retaliated by raiding his drives, releasing 40,000 HBGary Federal emails, remotely wiping his iPad and engendering a scathing public disconnection from those who have known and employed him. Evidently, if you fuck with the Internet bull, you still get the real-time horns.

"Rarely in the history of the cybersecurity industry has a company become so toxic so quickly as HBGary Federal," Andy Greenberg blogged Feb. 15 for Forbes' Firewall column. "Over the last week, many of the firm’s closest partners and largest clients have cut ties with the Sacramento start-up. And now it’s canceled all public appearances by its executives at the industry’s biggest conference in the hopes of ducking a scandal that seems to grow daily as more of its questionable practices come to light."

Competitive Intelligence, Rampant Idiocy

Of course, HBGary and Barr are tiny potatoes, especially for the code-savvy web heads of Anonymous, which is why his shamed mug has lately been making the media rounds. In fact, the finest breakdown of Barr and HBGary's conspiratorial plan has taken shape in Ars Technica's exhaustive spook farce, "Spy Games: Inside the Convoluted Plot to Bring Down Wikileaks," which pegged Barr as "The Man Who Knew Too Little" as a parting pop-cult stab.

But Forbes is fooling itself, and you, if it really believes that Barr and HBGary are simply rogue information agents engaging in "questionable practices." In the insidious world of officially sanctioned hacking -- also known as "cybersecurity" or "competitive intelligence," the preferred corporate nomenclature -- Barr and HBGary's expendable presence extends from the U.S. Department of Justice and the well-connected legal monolith Hunton & Williams to the corrupt finance titans of Bank of America and the Chamber of Commerce. They have all been swept up in HBGary's discredited wake, as they try to distance themselves from what was basically a routine disinformation campaign to hack and discredit transparency champs like Wikileaks and Anonymous, whose startling disclosures have rocked the previously airtight machinery of the political and economic powers-that-be

The testimony of Norman Mineta before the 9/11 Commission leaves compelling questions about former Vice President Dick Cheney’s actions on the day of 9/11. Then Transportation Secretary Mineta witnessed Cheney refuse to contradict an apparent standdown order as an aide warned of something incoming at the Pentagon. Cheney has given conflicting reports about what time he entered the PEOC bunker. Mineta later confirmed his suppressed 9/11 Commission testimony and refuted Cheney’s account of arriving later.

Yesterday, WeAreChange.org confronted Cheney about these questions, which he refused to address.

“Hey Mr. Cheney, what did you do in the underground bunker on 9/11? Dick Cheney we know what you did on 9/11 with the standdown order. Norman Mineta testified against you on the 9/11 Commission report. What happened on 9/11?”

When he was being forced out, WeAreChange.org founder Luke Rudkowski calmly asked security not to push him; security backed off after asking him, ‘Are you being polite?’

Free the Internet - Buy This Satellite

The charity group A Human Right said it was planning to purchase a satellite that would provide free basic Internet access to developing countries around the world.

The group, which was founded by 25-year-old Kosta Grammatis, is currently raising money to buy the TerreStar-1, the largest commercial communications satellite ever built. TerreStar, the company that owns the satellite, filed for chapter-11 bankruptcy protection in October 2010, opening the possibility that the satellite may be up for sale.

The group hopes to raise $150,000 to finalize a business plan, investigate the legal and business aspects of submitting a bid for the satellite, and hire engineers to turn the plan into a reality. After this initial phase, the group plans to develop an open source low cost modem that could be used to connect to the satellite and finalize plans with partner governments.

"We believe that Internet access is a tool that allows people to help themselves - a tool so vital that it should be considered a universal human right," the website for Buy This Satellite stated. "Imagine your digital life disconnected. Without access to the 100 million man-hours that have been put into Wikipedia, how much do you actually know?"

Nearly 5 billion out of the world's 6.9 billion people don't have access to the Internet.

ahumanright

A Human Right plans to finance their satellite by allowing telecommunication companies to purchase bandwidth, while providing basic service for free to everyone. "Our goal is to not only get everyone online, but also facilitate the growth of an industry," their website said.

The group has already managed to raise $44,781.

"The idea for global connectivity was born in Berlin, Germany in an innovation 'Do-Tank' called Palomar 5," according to the group. "Thirty people under the age of thirty came together to innovate on what the future might look like, and how to address some of the worlds problems."

"In Egypt we've watched as the government, in an unprecedented way, shutoff Internet access for the entire country," Grammatis told TIME. "We're building a system that can't be shutoff--it's as decentralized as possible. You could jam the signal somewhat, but to do that at the scale of a country is a very very difficult task."

"Big ideas, that can improve our society as a whole, are worth doing, and this one will be done," he added. "It's the logical next step in communications: a network available to anyone everywhere for minimal cost."

Similarly, President Obama announced Thursday his plan to get 98 percent of the United States connected to the Internet in five years.
