iSMOKE - issue1 - OUT NOW

I believe that it is wrong to criminalize cannabis users. Everyone wants to get high, and there are much more serious issues in today’s society than people who like to smoke weed. Several western countries are taking great steps towards decriminalization, with parts of America and even Germany allowing cannabis for personal use. Why cant Britain, a very modern society realize that things need to change? Making getting high a crime, when alcohol is a perfectly acceptable part of everyday life is absolutely ridiculous. The problems of the latter and benefits of the former are apparent; for example what stoned person would ever start a fight? But how high are the levels of violence when alcohol is a factor?

As is the prohibition of cannabis, as it leads to the government spending stupid amounts of millions of pounds every year to combat something which, if we’re honest just isn’t really doing any harm except the crime which is caused by the government’s ban on cannabis in the first place. Lets make the voices of cannabis supporters everywhere heard.
