Bristol Commune report on the goings-on at the city’s Occupy camp

The occupation of the open space area in front of the Bristol Council building began on the 15th October. The number of tents has grown since then, from 20 to over 40 at the beginning of November. People who have made the camp and ‘visitors’ come from all sorts of life. One day you may get a slightly middle class hippy feel to it, on another day you hear more of Bristolian accent or mix up with local homeless people. The camp has got relatively well-built basic infrastructure (for example a marquee with chairs to have meetings while it’s raining) and holds regular assemblies and ad hoc workshops. Every weekend there is a community fun day with arts, skills workshops and various discussions.

Bristol Commune went to two of them. In the discussion on financial crisis people were respectful and tried to listen to each other. One strand of participants argued that we need to get the banks under state control. People from ‘zeitgeist’ group argued for abolition of money and a resource-based economy. We said that it is impossible to reform capitalism by ‘cleaning’ it of the ‘bad’ financial capital. By doing that we would cut the essential blood veins of the system, which would bring it to even deeper crisis. We spoke against raising demands by the ‘occupy’ movement, instead of searching for links and coordination with sections of the working class. Most people were surprised and interested to hear about the encounter between the sparks and Occupy London, which we mentioned as an example.

The discussion a week later on ‘what is capitalism’ was another story. We managed to openly discuss our differences in how we understand capitalism. While some people equated it to a rule of corporations, others used the classical Marxist-Leninist scheme – the rule of owners of the means of production. We attempted to introduce a discussion on capital accumulation, global commodity chains, the proletarianisation of the populations of Asia and responses that must go beyond national boundaries and the trade union form of struggle. Unfortunately an interesting debate was suddenly side-tracked by a state socialist “anti-imperialist” who began defending Gaddafi and his regime as an alternative to capitalism. Despite the wish of the majority, she continually returned to defend the regime. At this point, it became futile for Bristol Commune to continue to engage in the debate. Another reason for leaving was the discussion was continually being photographed and filmed by people some of whom were obviously police officers. At one point the discussion was interrupted by a crowd of people dressed up as zombies for Halloween. This brought the obvious references to people sleep walking into social disaster and zombie capitalism – Chris Harman would have been proud!

A working class friend who came along with us (and who is no activist) said that she really liked this form of protest. She appreciated that she had a chance to speak, to exchange, to learn new things. ‘That’s got much more meaning for me than going to demonstrations or marches, where they just try to make you pissed off by repeating the same slogans on and on…’, she said.

You refuse?.....

Yes, i refuse. It is my right as fractional part owner of this planet to refuse. To determine just how much right you or anyone else may have, take the total sum of all resources of earth and divide by all life and you will have found your share, however please note that this is also your level of planetary responsibility. In case you missed that part of the Matterium Manual (soon to be released), your planetary resource share is also the total amount of debt that universe places on you for life. That is to say, you are charged with using that share of the planet's resources (including life force) to return more than you used. If you do so, if you add more value to universe than you receive, then you have achieved the goal of life here in matterium. And universe will provide prizes...likely celebratory pie as well.

Simple to state, but a real challenge to achieve. Made even more of a challenge by all the humans running around pretending to be talking assholes who are direct impediments to right thinking, and right action here on earth.

In point of fact, refusal is the ultimate right, the ultimate weapon for any planet earth shareholder. Especially those of us who bother to think occasionally. The best, final, and yet, first, and scariest weapon that any shareholder has is their will, and the intent to use it.

Particularly when they intend to use it to refuse.

To refuse to participate in bullshit of any kind.

To refuse to acquiesce to wrong is honorable, it is right action. Universe rewards right action. We easily recognize what is right as well as seeing that to do the right thing is the most difficult course to follow....at least in the beginning. After a while you get used to it, or universe hardens you in just the right way, or both, and it is not quite so onerous any more. Then it will become a habit. If only a small number of humans had the habit of right action, the universe would tremble in anticipation of our accomplishments.

The future habit starts with the first refusal. The first time you put your self, your ego, and potentially your body at risk, and refuse. That is all it takes.

The greatest warriors on the planet, those men who directed the birth of nations, and whose tactics stood the test of time, knew that not all of humans are born to fight, but all humans have will...which can be focused into intent. Then all you need ask of them is that they take only one step, to refuse. And thus modern India was wrested, firmly, inevitably, from the scaly grip of that notorious criminal gang, the 'british crown'. By mass refusal to accept a british crown as anything more than some uppity islanders thinking mighty highly of themselves and attempting to impose that view on everyone else.

Refusal need only extend to NOT giving money or energy to 'governments' whose primary goal is your enslavement.

Refusal can start by NOT feeding the pedophile child-murder machine that is organized catholic (anglican/baptist/morman) religion. All organized religion has histories of horrific crimes against humanity. All religions BY DEFINITION of the word 'religion' are intended to 'bind man to delusion'. Refusal to accept their filter on your experience of the world will bring down the edifice of evil that the priests and popes have so lovingly (yes they love evil...or do you think child rape, and ritual killing is not evil?) crafted (and yes, they are part of the 'craft').

Refusal can start by NOT accepting ANY mainstream media report as factual in any way. Refusal to accept their mind control begins the process of breaking its grip on you. Then it is merely a matter of learning what really happen in history instead of all the lies they tried to shove down your throat in school.

Also, please note, as so many great minds from Mark Twain to Jesse Ventura to Michael Tsarion have, there is a huge difference between schooling, and education. NOTE that the government has to provide you with schooling (as does the infamous catholic church at all their institutions of hell-for-children), but they are NOT obligated to educate you. That is your responsibility and the sooner you set about educating your schooled-to-within-an-inch-of-its-life mind, the better you will be able to manage your share of the planet. Too lazy, uneducated to read? Well, there is always YouTube and other video services. And let us not forget the tons of great radio out there....education can come in many forms. Choose yours. No one else is going to do it for you.

As to these 1percent people who are so completely mentally ill that they have a belief system whose core concept is that they are entitled to what i or any other human has created with our share/responsibility of the planet, well....hmmmm....i am here to state they are wrong....and done with all that foolishness now.

All because i refuse to accept their twisted view of reality any longer. It hasn't worked for over 5 decades of my life and that is long enough to tolerate any failed experiment, let alone assholes thinking themselves in charge of the planet.

The second American revolution has begun

There's a sense of desperation in America today. Their jobs are being exported out of the country, their health insurance is being dropped by employers, their dollars are becoming increasingly worthless with each passing day and their futures don't look very promising. They're angry, frustrated and desperate, so they take to the streets and protest. Occupy Wall Street! Occupy The Fed! Take to the streets!

It's the right thing to do, but what most protesters -- and nearly all Americans -- don't fully grasp is that nearly every powerful institution is a criminal racket. It's not just Wall Street that's operated like a criminal mob, folks: It's the U.S. Congress. It's the health care industry. It's conventional agriculture, the mainstream media, the processed food manufacturers, the government regulators and of course the entire military industrial complex.

Nearly everything around you is a criminal operation. The banks openly steal your homes while laundering money for global drug lords. The U.S. government runs illegal guns into Mexico while allowing cocaine and heroin back into the USA to be sold at pumped-up black market prices. The mainstream media broadcasts outright lies and complete fabrications as if they were fact. Much of modern medical "science" is complete quackery or fiction, funded by corporations for the purpose of expanding corporate power. The local water supply is intentionally contaminated with toxic poisons known as "fluoride," and the local food supply is tainted with other dangerous chemicals like aspartame, MSG and BPA.

Your local hospital is almost certainly involved in a medical racket that seeks to insert high-profit medical procedure charges onto patient bills, and your local nursing home most likely throws granny in the hospital for a few days in order to get triple billing from Medicare upon their return. Doctors prescribe antibiotics because they get kickbacks from the drug companies, and the medical journals are little more than science whores who have been bought and paid for by the pharmaceutical industry. Wake the heck up, people! Most of modern society is a giant con. Nearly every institution, every mega corporation, every government and nearly every politician or bureaucrat is really just a criminal mobster trying to steal your wealth or gain control over your actions and thoughts. Negotiated in secret by 39 countries, ACTA is one more offensive against the sharing of culture on the Internet. Officially The Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement (ACTA) is a proposed plurilateral agreement for the purpose of establishing international standards on intellectual property rights enforcement. ACTA would establish a new international legal framework that countries can join on a voluntary basis and would create its own governing body outside existing international institutions. Negotiating countries have described it as a response "to the increase in global trade of counterfeit goods and pirated copyright protected works. The scope of ACTA includes counterfeit goods, generic medicines and copyright infringement on the Internet."

A signing ceremony was held on 1 October 2011 in Tokyo, with the United States, Australia, Canada, Japan, Morocco, New Zealand, Singapore, and South Korea signing the treaty. The European Union, Mexico, and Switzerland did not sign the treaty, but "attended the ceremony and confirmed their continuing strong support for and preparations to sign the Agreement as soon as practicable." Article 39 of ACTA specifies that the agreement is open for signature until 31 March 2013.
